Guys, this topic is about Parkour Survival, if you want to discuss about the recent event in Russia please do it here.

Simple, I have time in the morning, Torben in the afternoon and Ninja in the evening. If most of you are asking questions when ninja is around, he will answer them.

Regarding the prizes, let me try to explain. A player will receive the prizes as soon he took part and will receive the prizes for all following challenges. That includes the prizes of the previous challenges in which he did not take part. We did it to prevent players from getting into teams to receive prizes without contributing anything. I am sorry if that was unclear to you, but I hope this clarifies it. Actually both count. We will list both if they are valid, and count members of both entries.

 Maybe the second one was a trap to throw out all the non pros.

You dont need magnum.
-
 Not really, just be happy if you got the reward of the first challenge twice.

For this challenge, most likely it is not enough. It is hard to tell without being concrete. If you want an answer, please contact one of us per PM, with details of both tricks, then we can be more specific.
-
Finally a question regarding the actual topic :). The trick shouldn't be the same setup. in other words, you shouldn't use the same principal for the trick. Changing weapons can be one solution. For the second challenge it would be a acceptable solution if the helpers have a different weapon.

We disqualified one team till now, and even they got a second chance while we are investigating their case a second time. What you are most likely speaking about is a team that did not submit their entry before the deadline. Redoing is something different, @SwiftSmoky's style of organizing the contest was different. While we strictly follow the rules that are written, @SwiftSmoky didn't look to closely and followed his heart. The changes to the contest rules we made, were a clarification, not a new rule. The changes for the second challenge on the other hand were necessary. Both @SwiftSmoky and me, never intended that you start at the roof. At the time of the change, no submission was affected. Yes maybe some teams already prepared videos, but they never submitted them. We will do future contests like this and we will definitely keep the feedback in mind. I even consider asking the team leaders of the official clubs to give their opinion, so we can work more community friendly rules out. But please also understand that we cannot simply throw all the rules for an already started contest out the window and replace them. Even if we would like to. And seriously, in this contest there is no way we could just wink a team through. For contests with subjective criterias, we will get in touch with the official parkour clubs. For contests that just aim towards skill to achieve an objective goal, we stay with our contest team. And if you truly want to help us, just apply as Contest Organizer (Just follow the Event helper Application with title Contest Organizer), we are searching for some.

Video editors / designer in general are contractors.

Ghost actually does, he is taking care of the video material. Nikk refused and went for participating instead.

Torben and me are German aswell  Actually there is a simple answer, @Miahak is as forum admin quite busy and @emrakul is chat moderator. And if you are already sorting by clubs, speaking for myself the last team I was truly loyal towards was Panzerknacker. I was invited by @Nikk, at a time we knew each other for over a year due to the German Events, to help tfp as they were lacking a proper camera men. I never got truly connected towards tfp, I barely knew most members, so I left the club after being inactive for months. I am loyal towards people, not clans or clubs. Most of my former comrades have left the game ages ago and the ones that are left are mostly helpers nowadays. I heavily criticized the fight between tfp and fnf, as a pointless conflict. I would today even say fnf outranks tfp in skill and time they invest. ( And I know @Nikk will probably rage at me today evening.) So stop saying we are biased, most of the changes that we made, all of us saw as necessary, are due to the change in organization style. Would we have designed the contest from ground up, most likely we wouldn't have this whole discussion.

The reason the contest is not run by any of the clubs is simple. The team that is running this contest are all helpers. Most, if not all will be the future contest team.

;) I was asked me for this specific challenge, with a condition that would otherwise violate the challenge rules.
-
If a team member is recording, not upside down and not participating, he will not be counted for the challenge. If he already participated in the previous trick that does not matter and he will receive a prize. In case he didn't helped yet, he will still not receive a prize. Please keep in mind that members must participate in 3 challenges to be eligible for the paint.

;) As SwiftSmoky said, the best entries were selected before he left. We just wont publish a simple list, because we think that is not what those entries deserve. Just be patient the best entries will appear somewhere.
-
We decided before the contest started against a subjective list of best entries. This contest is about who can do it, not who can do it in the most beautiful way.

As with everything, rules have to develop. During the planing phase we made several rule compositions, some were more restrictive and very tightly worded, while others were more an open and player oriented approach. The final version is mostly the later and just has some fragments that were necessary. During the contest it turned out that some of this player oriented rules were not clear enough worded, what resulted in many questions, so we had to update them. Another reason is in case of somebody finding loopholes, that were missed during the planing phase. The best example would be the second challenge, we never intended that players may start on the roof. We oversaw that idea because we thought if you want to get up, you start from below.

2. You may use an independent cameraperson to record your tricks, he will not receive any prizes. The camera person must not be part of any teams still in the competition. There is not much investigation necessary, I have access to the necessary lists during such competitions.
