That's pretty much what it is. "Parkour" is a French invention, which is "the sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing." In the context of this game parkour is about getting into places where tanks normally can't go (roofs of buildings, secret areas, behind fences, etc.). This is achieved by using the knockback from guns or mine explosions. Teams of friends work together to push each other into secret areas for no reason other that to claim that place "conquered", similar to climbing a mountain. However, developers do sometimes host events and competitions relating to parkour where you can win prizes. Find out more about parkour here.
