This^. There are no subjects you won't need. What if your child asks you a question or needs your help with his/her homework and you fail to help? - Dad, what's a mole? - Ugh no idea. I studied Literature and threw away everything I didn't need.

In my honest opinion what Electro planned was really fair. The newspaper doesn't come out at a fixed time and some people are offline when it's published. It's fair to let everyone know the newspaper is out before people start working on a contest. Let's say I refresh the Forum and at that same time the newspaper gets published. I'll go and work on "What map?" before all of you know that it's out. Wouldn't be fair, would it? The first three people who first discovered the contest topic would most likely be the winners, and in a contest you don't want only three participants. What about those who rarely check the forum? The in-game notification will let them know new contests are waiting for them ;).
