It's not a lie :) . DCC was not always available in the Garage. When you got DCC at 11:30 am, for example, if you entered the game at 11:29 am the next day, you'd see how DCC disappears from your Garage in front of your eyes and joins the list of the items in Shop. You could buy it again for 100000 crystals. If you refreshed the page, it would disappear. It happened to me too, I witnessed it when I was a newbie :P .
