    dictator and hunter are way more stable than viking. viking's advantage is in speed and smaller size relative to hunter and dictator. thats why it somehow feels viking has more hp than hunter/dictator because its easier to escape those striker rockets passing by you, as well as vulcan/twins projectile, circle around shaft to escape etc. viking is most used hull in e-sports history in matches where it is allowed (with overdrives off)

    Ditch hornet. You should have bought hunter on 50% sale. And get some modules. Do not waste your ammo on healing sub-par players. Find one or two strong players in your team, and stick with them for the duration of the battle. Buy supplies at 50% off whenever you get a chance if you want to play matchmaking battles. Especially stock up on Repairs, and starting using them. Supplies give the biggest bang-for-the-buck in this game, as alteration / drones / microupgrades are too pricey. Isidas are targetted a lot in battles, hence need more repairs. In long run, you can switch to combo like hornet rail / hornet magnum . Then you need more of double damage than repairs. cost of DD = 25crystals in 50% sale. very affordable. Always save enough crystals to buy 1 MU for all (or most of) your equipment on every 50% sale. Play pro battles if you want to earn crystals without using supplies. Get more experience points, as ranking up will give you rank up reward of 40k crystals. Leave unbalanced MM games within 2 minutes if your teammates are very bad.
  7. They could make this offer come once every 6 months. Say once on Tanki birthday, and once on Christmas / New Year. Buyers -> don't have to wait 6 months. Non-buyers -> wait for 6 months. Impatient people have more incentive to not wait for such offers.
  8. On some maps I see both crystal boxes and Warrant officers. Announcement says crystal boxes only on map with ranks <= sergeant major. On many maps and zones crystal boxes fall from the sky, instead of directly appearing on the ground. I have caught a few in air on a low account, by jumping from high ground.
  9. I expect this update to be rolled back. Just played a few games on low account. One player who has supplies can dominate the full battle, because nobody else has supplies. Newbies are getting crushed totally by experienced players who have supplies. Its a pity that the DD and DA can only be purchased at experience >= 41k, so for the first 41k experience points (some sergeant rank), new players can't even fight back with supplies.
  10. Kits in garage used to be sold for crystals. 90% of kits in shop are sold for tankoins. At 3 tankoins per weekly container, its near impossible to accumulate enough tankoins for a kit.
  11. With these new kits, the probability of regular (turret-hull-module) kits for crystals will become even lower. It was very bad to move product kits from garage to shop. Bring back kits section in garage, where every week there are kits for crystals. Bring back 100 supplies kit also.

    Railgun + Hornet Why?

    rail + hornet + double damage + large calibre rounds alteration + hornet overdrive: can kill all medium and light hulls in one shot. This is very strong ability in practice, to be able to one shot kill medium hulls, even if they have 50% rail protection, and double armour equipped. magnum + hornet is another similar dangerous combo.

  17. This is about part payment of kits using tankoins, and the remainder through crystals. Hypothetical example just to illustrate idea (I'm keeping numbers small to make the math easy): Suppose there is a kit which has price in shop = 10 tankoins, and price in crystals = 1000. But I have only 4 tankoins. So I pay these 4 tankoins, that completes 40% of the payment for the kit. Now I need to pay for 60% of the kit remaining. Thats a price of 600 crystals = 60% of 1000 Tanki charges a commission / premium for the crystal payment, say of 50%, and in total I pay 4 tankoins + 900 crystals to buy the kit. (900 = 600 + 50% of 600) So instead of 10 tankoins / 1000 crystals, I pay 4 tankoins + 900 crystals for the kit.This hybrid offer could be made available maybe once per week or month. Right now, its practically impossible to for non-buyers to get a kit of their choice in a reasonable amount of waiting period. Lower premium percentage than 50% and more frequent availability of this payment feature would be more beneficial for non-buyers, but devs can decide on the specific numbers. Note: This idea can be extended to other shop items, which have both tankoin and crystal price tags.

    Its still kind-of okay for non-buyers except for one thing: The biggest problem is that kits are now buyer only. If one has to wait 200 days to buy a kit of their choice for crystals, well, in these 200 days most players would rank up several times, and that kit would be redundant, as one can then simply buy those items from the garage then. Making kits tankoin only was very bad decision.. It makes it impossible to do well against buyers with full MU kits, that they bought 4 ranks before the items unlock.

    Coinboxes

    Some shop offers have limited duration / limited number of purchases. The offer for 1 coinbox must have disappeared aftre you purchased 1 or 2 units. You may need to wait for some time (possibly weeks or months?) for the offer to come back again. PS: Tanki birthday is coming soon. There is good chance of 50% shop and garage sales, so keep saving, don't buy now.

    I have experienced same bug on 2 accounts. I clicked in Flash, couldn't claim. Then I tried to claim in mobile version, but I couldn't claim it there also. This happened yesterday.
  23. Nobody knows what the price of a stock will be tomorrow. Yet there are people who can make 10x more money off the stock markets than others. Its about prediction, and accuracy - gathering relevant information, and building good forecasting models, regression and analytics. Good analysts can get much higher percentage of their predictions to be true. The guys who give the weather forecast in the newspaper get it right more than 90% of the times. The predictions of Tanki's matchmaking system are more like that of a drunk old man sitting at a bar who says "It would be nice if it rains tomorrow. Maybe it will rain tomorrow. Yes, I am convinced that it will rain tomorrow! I might as well an umbrella today to avoid getting wet." No matchmaking system can ever be perfect, but there is significant improvement that can be done in this one, without using much brains. A lot of good ideas have been suggested in the forum. Even if half of them get accepted, the system will improve a lot in balancing battles. Here's another statistic they could consider: People who have a mission to "Finish ? number of battles" are less likely to play good, relative to the case where they do not have this mission. A good analyst can predict numbers like "they are likely to perform only upto 75% of their potential / usual battle score when they get this finish battle mission". (This might explain the account you saw) Thousands of players have played 100s of hours of this game. Millions of MM battles have been completed. Thats enough data to make a lot of better predictions, which their system does not currently do.
  24. You must be very lucky. About 50% of battles I play are complete blowouts from the beginning. As I spawn, there are are 4 enemies in our base on full supplies. Meanwhile, my team has nobody who has activated even a single supply. And my team is full of wasp twins or hornet shafts who never use supplies, and end up with 0 kills 13 deaths... Some of the strong players in other teams should have been swapped with the weaker players in my teams, so that both teams have equal number of good players. Its not about GS so much, just that there team splitting algorithm is so incompetent at making balanced battles. Once it has selected 16 players for a battle, the matchmaker does a very bad job of splitting them up into 2 teams. It seems to completely ignore the statistic "avg. supplies used per hour in last 20 MM battles" for each player, and this matters the most, along with GS, when analyzing team balance. There are heavy druggers, and there are players who don't use supplies at all. In a pool of 16, if there are 4 heavy druggers, and 12 no supply users, their balancer often puts the druggers as 3:1 or 4:0, and only about 50% of the times, in 2:2 ratio. The biggest problem with this game is the poor matchmaking system, and not p2w. Because many times that mega buyer will get 7 no supply users in his team, and lose the game. Some other statistics they need to consider are win/loss ratio in last 20 MM games, score/hour in last 20 MM games, avg. damage dealt, amt. healed in last 20 MM games etc. ... And they have so many analysts and programmers...
  25. XP/BP is special because rail has inifinite range and extremely good accuracy at very very long distances without losing damage. Striker, thunder, shaft etc. lose damage at long ranges. There is no splash damage, so you need to be very accurate to cause damage. Light hulls allow you to dodge enemy shots, and knock off enemy's aim through pushing or shooting first etc. Players play with equal equipment, no supplies, no drones, no modules, no upgrades, no alterations, no overdrives - it is all about skill. Watch this video: Other equipment combos do not offer an opportunity to show skill as much as this format does. eg. wasp thunder in parma is not even close to xp/bp in parma, because thunder loses damage at long range. Pressing space bar forever and 1,2,3,4,5 with titan twins/vulcan is not much skill. Neither is running up to your opponent and spraying fire/freeze. Other formats require tactics, but XP/BP requires both tactics, as well as skills. Tactics: attack in pairs, deciding when to defend, when to go for attack, fighting for good camping spots Skill: accurate aiming at long distance, knocking off enemy's aim, dodging enemy's shots. People saying XP/BP is about toxicity and ego are just those who are really bad at Xp/Bp and have given up trying to get better at skill and tactics. "Those grapes are too sour" Sure, some players are toxic and egoistic, but that is not specific to a format. There are toxic firebird, freeze, isida, shaft, magnum players all around tanki. In fact, most xp/bp players are really well-mannered. Xp/BP games are the only ones I have seen where gameplay actually stops when matches are 3 v 4. Players wait until both sides have equal members, and then resume playing. This requires coordination among 7 players, who often speak different languages. And this happens even when the team with 4 players is losing in terms of flags. They respect the opponents lead, and do not capitalize on the opportunity to capture flags when they outnumber the enemy team. As far as toxicity and ego is concerned, xp/bp is definitely not worse than any other format in this game (other than wasp/fire, where all are friendly, there is no real game going on there). Thats why people prefer to duel 1 v 1 xp/bp no supplies, and not titan twins or hunter fire or viking isida to settle the question of skill.
