Holy crap!! How could i be so foolish and not think of this... Of course that's what they're thinking about. That's why their rhetoric doesn't make any sense. They're trying to make a profit out of equipment change! How could I've not see this? That's what they have been doing since the first "premium equipment" was put into containers, trying to milk the players till the last $, that is. Now is clear as day. Changing equipment? That wasn't even a problem... They maid it a problem! And soon they'r gonna offer you the solution... for some golden coins of course ?

But they already have. So what's your point? To state that there was no changing of behaviour after introducing a new factor it means that there was a previously observable behaviour that was being put to test. They also say "We started to change the cooldown after testing the hypothesis in the special event modes. It was important for us to see that players behave in the same way in the main MM". So, they can not compare that data to MM while comparing that data to MM?. They you go into the if's, but's and maybes of establishing direct causation between players leaving battles and the removal of equipment change. First of, how r u so sure that one causes the other? What makes you think that a player didn't leave a battle just because he doesn't like the map, or because he lost connection, or cuz he simply misclicked on the wrong mode? Don't know... But let's assume you're right, you got that data from the special modes, them what? What data are you going to analyze it against to see if there's any change? And here's where all your logic, and theirs goes down the drain... The only way, imo to determine if that's a change for the better is to ask the people that in fact play the game. But let's be real, that's not how they do things.

The effect of what? That players are leaving battle? I don't see how they can determine the reason why someone is leaving any battle... unless you ask them directly. But let's disregard that an just assume one is a direct causation of the other. How can you compare that data with the data from the regular MM modes? Are the proportions equal? If not, how do you adjust that? How do you determine the "changing of behaviour" by that data? All fair question, however they really don't wanna give a good reasoning for what they're doing... just say -"We have not seen any change in player behaviour". That statement is dumb on so many levels, that's even hard to comprehend. Just go along with it while the game deteriorates into nothing.

"We have not seen any change in player behaviour" What? How do they even measure that? You either can change equipment or you can't. The only way i can think of "changing behaviour" is to leave the battle once you realize it ain't possible. But even in that case, can't determine the reason why any player is leaving a battle. And once in battle, confronted with that predicament, is not like you're going to play any differently for what you usually do. "All possible advantages from changing your own equipment in battle are cancelled by one single disadvantage- the enemy can do the same" Yes, so everyone stands on equal ground, but we know tanki hates that... Why have so many so many turrets, hulls, drones, augments, modules if you can't use them when they're actually needed. Makes no sense, especially when the battles are longer.

Is it possible to see the screenshots of the winners?

Yeahy! More premium alterations! Just what everyone wanted? I myself was asking for more hard to obtain equipment. I even asked for paying a fee every time you login because that's what this game is all about now ? No wonder this game is dying.... in order to be competitive you need to pour sums of money in it. And why not create a new currency? Another thing that this game was craving for, because everyone knows that having only two currencies ain't enough. What's next? ... hhhh, i have an idea, this is so original- let's introduce a container that gives you stuff when you open it, but different from the other ones, with layers or rarity that separate what you can get, and you can buy them in the shop at 95% sale costing only 299$, an consider yourself lucky that they are at 95% sale cause if they weren't, you would have to sell a kidney to be able to afford this crap ? Let's call them super-ultra containers. Take notes developers, this is a brilliant idea.

Finally some good news in this game. No flashy announcements, no crazy changes, no introduction of tanks that can go into the stratosphere to then release a bomb and kill every single player out there, including themselves. NO! Just simple improvements in the gameplay and maintenance, that's all this game needed for many years. I actually am inclined to suggest something motivated by this announcement: you guys should take a look in the mechanism of changing equipment in the garage, is not working very well; i keep having to change multiple times, or trying to change, because it doesn't work at first, keeps getting into default position( for example, lets say i have fire, freeze and rail protection, and i try to change one of them, at first it says that the change was completed, but them it gets back to fire, freeze and rail protections again). Changing equipment should be an easy and fast process, one, two clicks that's it, cause if you are in battle that time lost in garage could be crucial.

Did someone vomit in here?

Task: Drop 100 gold boxes in the special DM mode on the «Skyscrapers» map. If you don't have 100 golds here is the Special «Klondike» bundle which contains exactly 100 golds. Funny it has that name, cause kinda reminds me of another type of greedy foolish deal that went down in 1867... No time to think! Just give us your money!

Once this was a great game... but that memory is long gone, soon to be forgotten. This is one more step on erasing that legacy, and with each new vomit regurgitated by the developers, the overall smell of this so called "free for all" game will become unbearable.

The augment Cold Immunity is attributed to which hull? Anyone knows?

Why do the kills on the special event «Solo Juggernaut» mode don't count to the mission "Destroy the Boss"?!? They even call it "the Boss" ( "as it will be much easier for the "boss" at this party to catch all the Gold Boxes") on the anauncment of the Special Holiday Event, but killing those Juggernauts apparently isn't the same...

The first time i read this, i was feeling really good, thinking that they finally widen their eyes, listened to the community and made a step in the right direction, but then i started thinking about it... First of, that bit about Thunder and Railgun doesn't even make any sense: so everyone has protection against this 2 turrets and because of that no one plays with them-totally wrong; then come's the comparison, of that already inaccurate statement, with hulls, and that's when the somewhat fallacy, but understandable logic goes down the drain; there's no protection against hulls, except other hulls (technically now you have the "EMP Immunity" and the "Stun Immunity", or as i like to call them " the degenerate gambler big time buyer alterations", both protecting from the same hull); but, assuming that this actually makes sense, to maintain the "game's balance" they came up with the idea of putting the new alterations in a brand new container, which in fact is just an old one( doesn't drop premium, and this is a relevant point), together with the turret alterations - they call them augments, just to confused you even more; but wait, they wanted to "make them more rare and attractive" while keeping the "game's balance". Rare and attractive?!? undoubtedly they are rare... and surly attracted some $ . Game's balance? not so sure...I'm certain the average Joe without tankoins to buy this "new" containers is getting owned in every battle by the players with this new "augments". Secondly, seeing the mistake they made( who knows? maybe this was the plan all along) it is time to retract the update, so they put the alterations back in the garage: pretty much all of them get more expensive; 245 000 for an augment? turrets and hulls are cheaper than that, i repeat, guns and body of the tank cost less than alterations for that same guns and body; and of course, the best of all, only 2 of those new hull alterations will be available in the garage (i know there are 2 for each hull which makes it 14), and they are the worst of them all, in fact that augments do the same crap as any firebird or freeze protection would do before; the best and more important hull alterations, the ones that actually give you an advantage in battle are only available in the shop at a high price for the average Joe. So, in the end, you get a new container that drops the same bs as the old ones except premium; the same alterations as before, only more expensive; you get Heat and Cold resistances that do what the protection modules against firebird and freeze used to do, and you still have to play for them, costing 75 000 more that an Mk7 protection module; and obviously, this may be the whole agenda behind this, they get to milk the cow two times in a row.

Well, Mr.Nibbles, the exception is quickly becoming the rule...

Whatever happened to the idea of getting equipment through crystals, you know, that thing you get for actually playing the game?
