^ Since you have Hornet M2 I would personally suggest Railgun out of those two; it fires with good speed, turns easy and can work well in both mid and long-range combat.

Yes Shaft M2 is amazing, personally out of those two I would suggest Jaguar.

If you mean this occurred after you were shot by Firebird for some time then that is normal, it is its burn ability which continues to do damage after it has been used for a while, if you mean this happened after you had already destroyed the other tank then this is most likely caused by lag, if so please see How to reduce lags.
