railgun is a pesc, many people really do hate being shot at by railgun, so it might as well be called "trollgun" (nice one) But you forgot one of the major drawbacks of railgun: aiming. It is true that you have to be a complete ****** to not be able to aim with railgun on a clean field in front of you, but things get a bit worse after you try playing in a larger CTF/TDM or DM. The thing is that even a shot by smoky at the right spot is able to deflect the shot of your railgun with up to 90 degrees... People are aware of that and as soon as they see your laser starting to flash, they shoot at you, pushing you so that you can't fix your aim within the 1.1 seconds of warm-up. This drawback practically takes away your chance of safely walking in the middle of a battle and shooting. No, now you are left with the only possibility of peeking around a corner in order to successfully shoot. And that on the other hand causes even more problems connected to the type of hull you use and its drawbacks. sorry for the wall of text :wink:
