  2. @nayeon Cool, her singing is great. I'm more of a Chaeyoung person. They are having a comeback soon Also, do you hate the update where dead tanks linger for a while. I don't like it all.
  3. @nayeon Is your name a reference to IM NAYEON from Twice?

    Fool Days in Tanki Online

Facts. We are going to see that (W.O.T) clan ruining everyone's day.
  5. This mission is probably the April Fool's joke that'll be in the v-log......Or atleast I hope it is an April Fool's joke. I can't imagine having to do a mission like that with the mega buyer paladin/OP broken drones clans running around. Let's pray this is the April Fool's joke
  6. I can understand the voice calls with friends enjoyment as I too play other games with friends on call, and it is a super fun time. But I'm perplexed as to how you'd love tougher battles yet all of you have the most broken equipment. In a game where the player base is mostly children who are unable to spend money to get near your level of gear score, hoping for tougher battles is futile. Imagine as non buyer seeing 4 paladins each with broken turret augments/drones. There is no reason to play/stay in that game just to get stomped without any competition. Games without paladins are some of the most fun just ask any player. Nowadays whenever I encounter you guys, I just leave cause there is no point. I hope you can understand why players dislike you guys. As people, I'm sure you guys are chill peeps, I don't mean any personal hate towards your character.
  7. I really dislike playing against really low ranks. I am a legend rank and it's just not even competitive. Often times, I kinda let the lower rank players destroy me even though I could beat them in a matter of a few shots. I try to keep it as competitive as possible for them.
  8. Oh I feel you there. Once in a blue moon, the mega buyers are able to be defeated through teamwork and a bit of luck. It's the most satisfying feeling lol. I've encountered situations where I say GG and I get insulted too haha. I guess their ego is in such pain that they can't fathom losing with their maxed out equipment lol.
  9. I've seen you guys (W-O-T clan) many times in battle. People leave your battles because you guys annihilate everyone in the first 2-3 mins of battle. It's like there is no competition so of course no one wants to play against players of your nature. Especially the non buyers. It's a sad reality of having everything maxed out as well as the most broken drones in the game. I'm surprised you guys have fun with this game. Personally, I like a challenge and resistance from my opponents. I feel that's what makes it a GG instead of capping all flags/balls in under 5 minutes without any hassle. But that's just me. Hopefully this update provides a little bit of fairness when facing players of your nature.

    Best Player Of All Time

I don't think there can be a best player of all time because of different aspects such as updates, meta, time period. Maybe if we categorize it to specifics of the game like who's the best XP player of all time/Best BP player of all time. It depends on the criteria you're using.
  11. My favorite nostalgic thing of all: When TO had over 100,000 + players online. Nowadays it feels like 2k-7k players. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DM Mode **before 2020**: A very fun mode where it was every tank for themselves. It was a very nice break from the team-based modes. It allowed for various playstyles to shine no matter what. You could be running and burning down tanks with firebird/wasp or perched somewhere with shaft/mammoth being a deadeye. You seriously could use anything and still play well using skills and a little bit of luck. Goldboxes in this mode were CRAZY fun. Oddly enough, it was a fair mode since everyone was on their own. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Assault game mode when it was first introduced during Christmas time: - BOTH teams each had a flags and a point. Both teams had to simultaneously protect their point and keep opponents from capturing while also taking the flags at their base and attempting to capture it at the opponent's point. This version of assault was so unique and fun. There was so much more action and craziness(the good kind). You had both defenders and attackers. Everyone had a role and surprisingly a lot of teamwork was involved. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ XPBP: - Desert XPBP DM 50 kills - XPBP Polygon CP - XPBP CTF in Island, Courage, Ping Pong, Gravity, Cross, Farm, Atra, Boombox, Duality, Factory, Pass, Short Bridge, and other rare maps such as this. - XPBP Youtubers: Lankbouv, Spy, Bela.36, True.Legend, HardLens, MIkI13, Fear, EXP, etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ People: Semyon Kirov - The best Community Manager ever. Every V-log hearing him say "Hello Tankers" just felt like a stress reliever Kasim - Just an amazing bald guy Old Youtubers: Claudiu, Oufa, Zlolkill, Pizzariffic, That_One_Michael, PauliusDaOne, Mohommed95s, Shibe123, MiaArchangel, Skill_Pavilitos, Xboom, True.Legend, Spy, Bela.36. (I probs missed a bunch but after school I'd watch these guys content and it was so entertaining) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Miscellaneous/Random: - Madness Map when it has a bottom floor area. Playing in this map was literal "madness" but so much fun. - When paints had meaning and were used for protections. - This is gonna be weird but when Brest map had a back entrance on both maps. It made performing sneak attacks much more fun and gave you more options. - When goldbox actually had value/meaning - When the Vlog would show the goldbox catcher of the week. - M1,M2,M3 Skins - Seeing your progress with your tank/hulls changing as you played, ranked, saved, and purchased during sales felt so good. - The various servers such as RU 1 and EN 1 and so on. - When balance Between F2P and buyers made sense. F2P players were not SUPER weak against super buyers as they are now.

    Continuing experiments

Experiment 2.0 (16 v 16) is an interesting experiment that has garnered mixed reviews from the community. One thing I can confirm is the addition of new maps to matchmaking is well received by the community. It is refreshing to play in new maps. Games are more intense and overall create an amazing gameplay experience. Also, being able to play with 4 players in a group is a great way to play with friends. On the topic of player reception of the experiment, from my experience in the experiment as well as speaking to various players and gathering their opinions, I understand both perspectives of the experiment being good and bad. Below, I listed various ways the developers could utilize the experiment and improve the game. *Disclaimer: I am speaking through a lens of pure gameplay regardless of turrets, hulls, augments, overdrives, and drones. Yes I know there are some controversies regarding drones and such. They are part of the gameplay and I am grouping all of this as whole. *Disclaimer 2: I am legend rank 21. I've played Tanki since 2009 on multiple accounts. My opinion may be clouded by my experience longtime experience. Just pointing that out to create an understanding of my view. I will attempt to be as objective as possible. *Disclaimer 3: This is my opinion and not factual. 8 v 8 for small maps 10 v 10 for medium maps 12 v 12 or 14 v 14 for large maps The game mode should also matter too. 16 v 16 in certain game modes are not great. I've listed modes ranking in order of fun with the gameplay I've had. CP: This mode is the best gameplay experience for me.16 v 16 is great for CP as there is more teamwork involved in capturing points and games are usually very competitive to the last second. Siege: The second best gameplay experience for me. It is pure intensity rushing for the point with your teammates. 16 v 16 for siege is great. CTF mode: The most popular mode. 16 v 16 is too much for this mode on certain maps. There are moments in games where it is impossible get to the enemy base. There are also moments where a game becomes very one-sided leading to a fast game. Assault: Gameplay experience in this mode is intense and fun. However, 16 v 16 may be too much in certain maps. TDM: Decent. Feels like regular TDM but with more players and much more intensity Juggernaut: This is my least played mode. Personally, I do not like this mode. I feel that my disdain for this mode will severely cloud my judgement of how 16 v 16 feels in it. I will try to be as objective as possible. 16 v 16 in Juggernaut mode is in a good direction for those who enjoy the mode. There are times where I found myself, a person who usually does not enjoy Juggernaut mode, truly having a fun gameplay experience. Concluding Statement: This experiment presented itself a lot of promise. I will be honest when I first heard of it, I made the assumption that I would hate it. I do not. 16 v 16 enhanced gameplay and the increased intensity is amazing. One key word I keep noticing when I speak to other players about it is intensity. Intensity creates an atmosphere within games that allow players to become fully immersed in the game. 16 v 16 has its positives and negatives and I feel like it could be a stepping stone for Tanki's improvement. The implementation of new maps is definitely a positive and I feel Tanki developers should look into implementing more maps. The Tanki developers should look into balancing the amount of players in each map and each mode. Some modes and maps should have a certain amount of players to keep gameplay intense and balanced for all. This is my first post on the forum. I hope this reaches you guys well. Thank You, SelenophiIe
