Because micro-upgrades for drones are ridiculously expensive, and drones use batteries and supplies too, so most players don't use them. But since the supplies update, it's almost vital for you to have a drone or you get killed in battle repeatedly. Additionally, it'd be better if the micro-upgrades for supplies (as in to upgrade them completely) would cost a total of 1 million crystals.
