It all depends on their choice, so try to be as clear as possible and make sure your application/nomination is appealing enough The third point is explained well in the video (I guess).

See, it all depends on your motive. They have money and they're using it for good and I appreciate that. I personally don't think that they are interested in "what" you want. They are probably interested in "why" you want the thing. And I think Generalissima/Goddessmode_ON might agree that the motive for your request is more important than the value of your requested item

In that case I'd be put into guilt that someone has used his/her hard earned money for me and I did nothing in return. Honestly that is against my principles.
