Have not played in 8 months, just came back today. Zero has changed: same toxic players, same unbalanced matches, same toxic play to win players talking . Glad I left the game. It's 100 percent 'how can we make money' rather than 'how can we make interesting and competitive game play'. No change. Example: it takes FOREVER for a fully upgraded shaft to recharge. Why? Did some pay to win kid get their feelings hurt because I could dominate a game? Oh yeah, NEVER let actual skilled players dominate the game; that goes against pay to win. Glad I left, came back to see if there were any redeeming qualities, there are none, and now I can promise I will a) never come back and b) actively dissuade anyone else from coming here.

I quit this game back in September. Came by just now to see how things are. Reading the forum here I see that shaft has been over nerfed. That was my favorite turret to use. I just tried it out in a battle and I must say it is completely useless now. Fired one shot and got drilled by three other tanks before it could charge halfway. Three items: 1) Tanki continually getting worse as per the pattern. 2) Glad I quit the game. 3) No need to come back to see if anything has changed for the better. Good Luck everyone! Just dropped 43 gold. My last kind act to fellow players as I exit this game. The game has gone too far in the non-competitive, non-enjoyment direction. Apparently, whatever is happening here is putting money in the right hands and nothing changes - just an endless cycle of overpowered turrets, imbalanced matches, toxic players, and punishing non-paying players. Goodbye and good luck to all those that wish to keep playing this crap game.

Especially if one is trying to complete "Top 3 in x number of battles" missions. I've had one of those in the weekly queue for well over a month now. Even though I may score in the top three in all but one category in a game, because I am a non paying player, I am put behind 4 or 5 other players. To me, this is indicative of the general mindset of Tanki management/developers/whatever you want to call them. I left 4 Rugby matches today to find one that was starting at zero only to get crushed by the horribly imbalanced match. I spend more time reading and replying on forums than playing the game now because the game play sucks.

And then they brought back Gauss. To me that was the turning point, the point where Tanki started with OP'ing everything and making the game unplayable.

We don't enjoy it, hence much less playing time. I knock out daily missions and call it a day, or two or three, sometimes a week before I come back. Just tired of all the things you mentioned.

This is the wisdom of Tanki. It appears the goal of these particular "missions" is twofold: a) prompt buyers to buy more stuff so they can achieve this goal, b) purge non-buyers. I submit the "new" structure of missions is part of this effort. Can't let the non-buyers EARN more stuff now, can we? NO! I received the "top 3 in 15 battles" mission the first week of August and have achieved 13 of 15 as of September 2nd, and yesterday received "top 3 in 7 battles" - both WEEKLY missions. I have NEVER in all of my time playing Tanki accomplished these goals in less than 3 weeks. Receiving the "top 3 in 7" BEFORE completing the "top 3 in 15" mission is infuriating and discouraging. Add Hopper and Tesla to battles and that frustration has reached a boiling point. Since the vast majority of games are decided in the first few minutes due to the extraordinary imbalance of all facets of the game, it's only logical that players leave battles due to not being able to complete a mission. Why continue a battle that will only result in using up valuable supplies for less reward AND inability to achieve a mission? More frustration: I scored the ONLY goal in a Rugby match, thus our team won, yet I was ranked 6th. How am I supposed to "finish in the top 3" in ANY battle if Tanki is going to PUNISH skilled non-paying players? This is a digital slap in the face of the very people that support your product, unless of course Tanki only views support as $$$$$$. I'm not sure if the purge of non-paying players is due to a conscious effort or incompetence: either way it's achieving that end.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! Everything about the game now is designed solely to garner income, punish non paying players, and to slowly purge the latter. If I am wrong about his, someone please provide a logical, coherent, and critical analysis of alternate motives to over powered turrets, augments, and more, that are only available to the teenagers that play this game via mommy's credit card.

The only players that will be more devoted to 20 min matches are buyers. What could be better than building up your Tanki wealth and resources than pounding on weaker players for 20 minutes? Matchmaking is a joke and has been for a long time. Most of these matches will never see the full 20 minutes (unless it's forced) because the blowout is typically obvious about 3 minutes in to any contest, except of course that rarely seen and elusive creature known as an "even" match. In almost every match now there are one or two players on the winning team that has double or triple the kills of anyone else. Just finished up CTF where two players on the winning team had over 40 kills. Tanki seems determined to never fix matchmaking, rather, it seems that milking the buyers by feeding them pudding in a cup is the financial plan.

Same with my Titan. I think it might be an enemy augment that somehow disables your OD, but I'm not sure as I cannot keep up with all of the different methods by which one can get screwed during battle. Just a guess. I don't know why or what causes this, maybe lag.

Which would be true if matches were balanced. Matches are not balanced - it's rare to have a close game, most are blowouts. This 15 min crap is also a problem if you have garnered the "finish in the top 3 in 15 matches" weekly mission. A) You cannot control your team - Tanki does that. B) Once you get behind, it's RARE that you can get caught up, because matches are unbalanced (feed non-buyers to buyers) With each passing week I play less and less. My M-20 Titan is getting one shotted by hammers and other small turrets. What's the ****ing point of even playing this game anymore?

Hard to see this game surviving. That this game continually gets worse daily is amazing. I mean, really, what gets worse daily? What really gets worse every day? Answer: Tanki.

I was wondering why my tank exploded every time I went up a ramp. And, I don't have crisis or any augments, just a Wasp, and it randomly explodes when going up ramps. Pretty frustrating on top of all the other excrement that goes on.

Never gonna happen. Gear score and rank make little difference in game play - it's who has the money to buy the augments and upgrades. Also, be aware that you must upgrade all of your equipment to MK-7 BEFORE you make Legend rank. Once you make Legend, you can no longer incrementally upgrade anything that is not MK-7; you will have to cough up the necessary crystals to go from MK-5 to MK-6, and so on. Start saving crystals now, or pay cash for imbalanced battles, overpriced augments, lag, hackers, toxic players, profanity laced game chats, and twice the crystals.

"In a recent update, the developers have removed the option to micro upgrade turrets when the next modification is available. So since you are of the Legend rank, all Mk7s are available for you and hence you cannot micro upgrade your Mk5s anymore but you are instead supposed to purchase the next modification." Anybody else experience this? I cannot incrementally upgrade any of my hulls/turrets that are less than MK-7, instead, no matter the level, I must cough up enough crystals to upgrade to the next full level. This occurs when you reach legend status. If you have not upgraded all of your hulls/turrets to MK-7 by the time your reach legend, you will pay through the nose for upgrades on your lesser equipment. It's one thing to not reward non paying players for their dedication, time, and effort in the game - it's another thing entirely to punish them. Due to this bovine excrement update, I will only be upgrading the 3 hulls and 2 turrets that are MK-7's.

So, it is indeed a punishment. Upgrading two levels costs the same as upgrading 10 levels. Wow.

I am no longer able to upgrade some of my hulls/turrets incrementally. I have to pay large amounts of crystals to jump from MK5 to MK6, or MK4 to MK5, etc., instead of taking my MK6-2 to MK6-3, I have to cough up huge amounts of crystals to take it to MK7 Only three of my hulls and two of my turrets are MK7 - these I can upgrade incrementally. Why can I no longer incrementally upgrade my other hulls/turrets? Is this some sort of punishment for reaching Legend status?

Ha! I should have not complained: I just got that top 3 places in 15 matches for a weekly mission. Funny thing - I played 8 matches, finished near last in all of them, then suddenly finished in first place in a very odd game that seemed full of bots. I don't know what to make of that. I'm willing to bet that I don't complete that mission by the end of September.

I presume this is how to keep the buyers buying - feed non-buyers to them. I wish that for one month ALL non paying players would boycott the game. It would be interesting to see what effect that would have.

Just got out of an assault battle where ONE guy with Tesla and Hornet literally removed our entire team in one pass - just picking off tanks wherever they were. The score, to no surprise, wound up 80 to 12. Guess which team the Tesla guy was on?

Sorry, I did not read that carefully. When I see that as a daily mission I quickly change mission. I hear what you are saying. I've had that top 3 crap as a weekly mission and it took nearly a month to get it done. I completely agree though - it should be removed from the weekly missions.

There was a time when I could achieve that goal; now, I remove that mission. I haven't finished in the top 6 or 7 for a long time now (since the 16 vs 16) much less the top three.

Hopper is a prime example of what I detest about this game.
