    If all of my other hulls/turrets are destroyed in 4 seconds or less, what is the logical thing for me to do? Break out the biggest, longest lasting hull, and combine it with my most lethal turret. The big hulls are slow - so I am going to traverse the map at a snails pace and grab the flag or score a goal? Not likely. Camping is part of the game, and I submit it is exacerbated by the lack of balance in the game, AND, people complain about it because they get destroyed by campers. I don't hear anyone complaining about Twins, or Ricochet, Railgun, Thunder, or Vulcan - the turrets that require the least amount of skill but do an enormous amount of damage. Just sit on the trigger and point in the GENERAL direction of an enemy and add up the kills. If ALL turrets required the level of aiming skill that Shaft requires, the game a) would be more competitive and b) a ton of people would probably quit. I WANT to grab flags and score goals, but my smaller, faster, nimble tanks just don't last long enough for me to do that. I used to use Wasp almost exclusively in CTF and capture multiple flags per battle. Ever since the 16 vs 16 experiment, I'm lucky to get 1 flag every 4 or more battles, SO now, I revert back to Titan/Shaft, camp, and fire away. That's how to earn CRYSTALS which are essential if you want to play this game, let alone be successful. I've played in CTF matches where I scored the ONLY goals, thus winning the game for our team, but because I'm a non paying player, I wind up 5th or 6th on the team ranking and acquire 1 star and relevant crystals. How does that make any sense? You want to reduce camping in CTF and RGB matches, etc. - make scoring goals worth MORE than piling up kills, make it harder to pile up kills, reduce the over powered augments, reduce the damage that constant fire turrets produce, and require turrets to actually aim at the target. None of those things will happen because the philosophy of Tanki is too far down the arms race/profit motive road to implement those changes.

    It seems the standard is that battles are unbalanced. It is a rare occurrence that a battle is competitive - an actual good battle. In my opinion, gear score means nothing - it comes down to augments and protection. My M-18 Wasp gets one shotted out of existence constantly, and on any of those long CTF maps I never make it more than halfway. The combo I play nearly all of the time now is Titan M-18 and Shaft M-18 because that hull will last long enough for me to get a few kills in before it's over. That combo has 9000+ gear score but is still quite susceptible to augments. With the Titan I can achieve a plus k/d ratio, with any of my other stuff not at all. My Wasp k/d ration is typically something like 2/17 or the like no matter the turret (because I die in 4 seconds or less), and with Titan/Shaft it's typically 10/6 or so simply because I last a little longer. The fact is this is a pay to win game, and that drives all decisions by the people that are getting paid.

    I don't try to compete challenges because it is indeed impossible to complete. I concentrate on daily missions only and rarely play a match for "fun" because of the disparity between pay to win players and casual players. As soon as I get into a match where I'm blasted to bits three times in the first few seconds I bail. This means I often bail 4 to 6 times before finding a match I can compete in. That's all I want: a fair match where I can compete rather than getting fed to pay to win players. I'm Generalissimo now, not far from Legend, and once I make that level I'll play even less than I do now. The bottom line: this game is pay to win. All updates, mods, etcetera are geared toward that end. Once you accept that (as a casual player, which I am) you can just play until you get sick of the bs and just bail until you're ready to play a few games at a later time. This is how I weaned myself off of this game. If you aren't monetarily invested in this game, don't let it stress you out.

    So, all supplies have been reduced because there was too much reliance on them during game play. Tanki developers failed to realize that reliance on supplies is a symptom of a larger problem and have made that problem worse by reducing the one thing that slightly held against that problem. What is the problem? The over powering of nearly every turret and OD in the game, plus mods that can be bought that reduce hard earned armor levels to paper mache. Why not just kick out all non paying players and let those non skilled play to win players beat the crap out of each other? See how long that lasts.

    Clearly you do not play Wasp. That's my default mode anymore. Even though my MK-16 Titan gets chewed to bits in 2 seconds by Railgun, Twins, Ricochet, and Thunder, it does tend to last .7 seconds longer than my MK-16 Wasp. Once I make Legend (not much longer) I'm putting this game on the shelf. I'm tired of Hopper flying all over the place grabbing all the Gold and Flags and Rugby goals, and I'm tired of moving 2 feet and die, 2 feet and die, 2 feet and die, constant repeat. It's not fun anymore.

    Spot on. This greatly affects Wasp's need for speed since sneezing at Wasp will destroy it or turn it over or fling it off the map.
  11. Reading through these comments I see that I must play in a completely different Tanki version. All of my MK 7+ are one and two shotted in every match, or drilled to death by Railgun or rapid fire Smokey. Every match I play is completely dominated by Legends with high gear scores and all the extras. I have, as of today, Jan 29th, 2021, in conjunction with the new update, come to the conclusion that Tanki is no longer interested in fairness, match balance, proper competition, or players that don't pay. Tanki took a hard turn in the wrong direction when it brought back Gauss; it's been steadily getting worse since then.

    CTF Hopper put our flag in a place outside the range over everybody, similar to the desert map location cited above. Nobody could return the flag. Hopper belongs in an entirely different game and not with ground tanks. It's essentially a helicopter and is ruining every CTF and Rugby battle.

    Just played my last match. Tired of toxic players, tired of mismatches, tired of Hopper ruining every CTF, tired of being put in with majority Legends, tired of all of it. There is no consequence for toxic players. Players are leaving in droves - count me as one of them. Goodbye and good riddance.

    Ever since the 16 vs 16 experiment up to this day every battle I am in now is 50% to majority Legends. Even with M7 Titan, I'm consistently one shotted out of existence. M7 Wasp is useless - can't stay alive for more than 3 seconds. Is this going to be the norm moving forward? Is every battle going to be majority Legends that I have no chance against, cannot compete against? Is this an attempt to punish non buyers? Is this an attempt to purge non buyers? I ask because that is the effect it is having on me. Finish in the top 3 of a winning team in 15 battles? I can't finish in the top 6 out of 8 whether I'm on the losing or winning team because the top 5 to 6 are all legends. What is happening? Does anyone know?

    16 vs 16 nullifies many tanks/turrets, and makes it impossible to complete daily missions. Finish in the top 3 in 15 battles? It already took weeks to do that under the previous format. Capture a flag? I can't even get close to the flag much less grab it and make it all the way back to home base. The current format nullifies the 700+ hours I put into this game developing hulls and turrets. If the current format is gong to be THE format going forward, then daily/weekly missions need to reflect the downside of one having developed small tanks and melee turrets. My M7-7 Wasp is getting one shotted right out of spawn, and if I make it out of spawn, it gets knocked over, misdirected, or destroyed in the next few seconds. So, the time I spent developing Wasp was/is a waste.

    Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

    I find the Titan overdrive essentially useless. ALL tanks can take me out when inside the dome. I really don't know what it is good for. Vulcan, rail gun, smokey, thunder, ricochet, twins, firebird, and freeze can all destroy my titan when under the dome. Vulcan, gauss, smokey, rail gun, thunder, twins, and ricochet can destroy my tank from far away when I am in Titan and have triggered overdrive. I just had a Vulcan destroy me in seconds from far away. What's the point of Titan's overdrive? What is being said here by others seems to be counter to what I experience in game play. And, I have three protections, yet all of those guns can still one shot kill me. What is the point of titan overdrive and protections if tanks can still destroy me while under the dome and the tanks I have protection against still can one shot kill me? Protections: Grizzly 5-3 Owl 5-4 Falcon 6-1 All of those turrets can still one kill me, so I no longer spend crystals on protection. What's the point? Hulls: Wasp, Hunter, Titan, all 6-10, all can be one shot killed with the above set up. What's the point?
