I agree with this idea, altho an extra message that displays the action is also efficient -
Most likely no, The reason the entire structure of the Matchmaking system was changed was because players kept playing the same map/format everyday. So to try to change that, this format was made. Reversion of updates is not possible as well.

Hornet OD dont have thermal imaging, just some outliers -
Or they could add this function : people in 1st place in both teams will complete that mission regardless of the result of the battle

How about every piece on the chessboard getting eliminated, the team wins an item whether its augment/skins/tankoins/crystals etc.
