As i have proved g/s depending on your combo means nothing. A hopper with crisis can be over 5000 g/s below you and still make you look like a recruit. G/S does not truly reflect a players ability are the fact that player uses the flying hack, which is unstoppable for the most part when equipped with crisis. Even without crisis it is still OP.

MM goes from one extreme to the other with consummate irregular ease. One battle you are getting outdone by a flying hack, the next you cap with ease then drink tea for the next 6 mins. This cannot be fun for the low rankers. Then again they should have left instead of coming after me, just because i wiped out most of their team when i went for their flag. Not a flying hack in sight, a glorious 7 mins of normality. -
You should pick 5, gives a better reflection in the poll to what players think.

Example on how to vote....lets say you combine esport skill with overdrive and a drone, then you have skill with a hopper and maybe a crisis drone.....i mean how OP is that.

So here is a little poll that might clear up what everyone thinks is, and is not a game changer. My mistake it is lieutenant colonel not 2ND lieutenant for the shop....it has now been corrected. I've added three more that also affect TO. -

All these different alts were brought out for one sole purpose, CASH. TO is a cash driven game, to say otherwise is a falsehood. One glaring example of cash dominating in battle. I have a colonel account, I went up against a 2ND lieutenant who was using the legal cheat hopper. My g/s was far superior to his, and yet he dominated throughout the battle as he also had the crisis drone. I was the only player on our side that had any chance of taking him on (if i could catch him) so i went to their base and waited for him to cap our flag hoping to prevent it. Made no difference. I stopped him once, but he still went on to cap 4 times and basically win the battle on his own. He even went on pause for almost 2 mins which was the only time we capped. TO has made certain hulls, drones, turrets OP for a very specific reason, to generate cash from the hardcore buyers who revel in the dominance their cash gives them in battle. Buyers dominate way more at the lower ranks, this is a fact i have seen hundreds of times in battles i go into. To put the legal hack (equipped with crisis) into perspective, especially at the lower ranks, this was my combo when trying (with no luck whatsoever) to combat that 2ND lieutenant. Vulcan MK7, hunter MK7, incendiary, heat immunity, defender drone (18/20) modules.....all MK5, think they were 27 at the very least including protection against said legal cheat (he was freeze) My g/s was at least 5000 more than him, and yet he still DOMINATED in every battle i went up against him in, which was 3 in a row. There are certain combos out there that truly dominate. My combo is very strong, (for my rank) but i deliberately only do missions then park up until the next missions appear the following day. Reason for this is to not rank way to quickly and go up against far stronger ranks and become useless in battle due to my weak protections at the higher ranks. Because of my patience i am strong at all ranks and do not waste cry on multiple combos. Instead i upgrade protections and my 1 strong combo, therefore i have a greater chance of doing well at any given rank. Having said all that i still can't take on the legal hack with a crisis drone. Waste of time as you would need a team of like minded players to achieve the win (possibly) against the most OP combo ever in TO. Summary:- No matter your skill level, unless you have the capacity to upgrade your garage through the ranks, (and be selective) you will fall victim to the legal cheats that have become more widespread at all ranks, albeit mostly the higher ranks. All those that think vulcan with it's alts is op have a serious rethink. It is NOTHING compared to the hopper/crisis combo, doesn't even come close. My combo compared to the legal hack with crisis is a bystander in battle, totally ineffective. And i was by far according to g/s the strongest player on both teams by a factor of at least 5000.......G/S means nothing when going up against the legal hack, FACT. Last point. He even said in 1 of the battles that, and i quote:- My magic is stronger than your magic? By this i think he was referring that his OP combo was far superior to my overall much stronger combo (on paper) in that battle.

You rank to quick you end up like that player in the 1st screen. MM has its faults but players do not help themselves by ranking to quickly. The devs could help out by not giving you more xp/cry. Should also make it so that you have to acquire more xp to rank also. This would help the lower ranks out a lot. These are sound and valid ideas and should be implemented into TO asap.

Damage per shot is useless. I used it a lot, but now i find it is quite pathetic in todays TO. I usually ignore smokey with auto on now, at best just an annoyance.....but each to their own.

Lower ranks fine, high ranks above marshal not a chance. To many things in the game that are way stronger and better than auto cannon now, for me it's a debunk piece of hardware like most things in TO since the arrival of certain legal hacks and OP alts.

Get rid of the legal hacks and totally rework MM, that's the only way it will work. Legal hacks are in no particular order...emp gauss....hopper with it's 3 overdrives, (worst offender) and still hornet with it's overdrive (they never ever did nerf it the correct way) This is what needs to be done, do this you have balance, are at least a more balanced game compared to the horrendous MM we have atm.

They tie your hands with their eula, if you don't agree to their terms that they have set out then you can't play tanki. I once tried to read through the whole of the eula. It's a mind numbing read, very boring and at times quite complicated. How any kid (below age of 16) can even begin to comprehend 9/10 of it is beyond me. -

Agree, it's probably been an ongoing concern for quite awhile, but only now when it's come to head are you (the players) been made aware of it. -
NO, no, and no. Players reaching gissmo quickly won't get bored, they will get trounced. Then after many trouncings, then they will get bored (of getting trounced) and then they will rage quit.

I came top, 24/3. got killed 3 times trying to capture point basically on my own. So i stopped trying and went on a kill mission,this made the battle worthwhile in the end for me. The team i was in was very weak and they didn't have a clue. I despair at MM at times, it is anything but matching the correct players against each other. The player numbers are obviously dropping which gives rise to battles like this. The legend (i use that term very loosely) at the bottom of the enemy team was a wasp magnum. (check out his profile) it proves my point about ranking to quickly. The idea of MM is a good one. All the devs have to do now is get it right. So far along with multiple other updates they have brought into the game it has in the main, been a dismal failure. I have a solution to the g/s problem that would match players of similar garage strength and rank. To stop players abusing g/s upon entering a battle (going in with 3500 g/s and then bigging it up to say 9500 g/s) make it so that if you equip certain combos that exceed a certain g/s it kicks you from the battle. Now the devs would have to work quite a bit to implement this, but i think it would be worth it and balance the game out considerably. That magnum/wasp would be playing against WO5, maybe even lower. Now i no that players would still find a way to use this system to their advantage (i can think of 1 way but will keep that to myself) but it has to be better than the current MM we have now. @Spy claimed it was a glitch, i no he is only trying to defend the game, not blaming him for that. I also would like to defend the game as i enjoy playing it, but the experiment and the resulting battles that saw very very low ranks go against very high ranks was no glitch. The experiment may have exacerbated the huge rank spread in battles but MM at its core is severely broken. Along with all these alts (augements) for turrets/hulls etc, and the inability of the majority of players to temper their enthusiasm to reach the next rank, (chill guys enjoy the rank you are at) tanki for the most part only has a positive effect for those players that can afford to keep up with the increasing changes made by the devs. This is my best solution to date that i can think of to balance the game out so it is more user friendly for most players. Lots of work needs to be done to achieve a better balance. This idea, and many many others from a multitude of players in the forum has to be given some serious thought by the devs. If the devs keep ignoring these ideas (the intelligent ones) then the game will just keep getting more and more complaints from players fed up of not even having a chance of being competitive in battles. I no this was a bit long but it had to be said.

No it's not, but having protections that low at legend will only work out for you against average players and other low g/s.
