What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
SONIC-BOOM replied to Maf in Game Discussion
emp gauss hopper are killing battles both legal hacks im done with cheats -
well someone said you can get stuff from holidays contests etc etc......whats your take on that. never going to happen in 10 zillion years they do....the buyers
-
nice glitch if you can get it working for you. just checked there 2nd to last player was 16 ranks below me.
-
And if you are f2p how do you acquire such expensive kits?
-
It's happening because there is not enough players to fill the battles with the same ranks. Therefore the lower ranks suffer greatly for this. MM has never worked from the get go, add the buyers into the mix along with the odd legal op hacking hull, and the lower ranks when facing ranks up to 5-8 above them will always be on the receiving end of a battering. This is not a bug are a glitch, tanki is broke. It favours the buyers and those legends (players) with maxed out garages. @Spy i reckon you were being overly optimistic in your reply.
-
Must admit i felt like god mode on they never stood a chance of killing me not once there fire hunter had the best chance but he never used his overdrive once in that battle.......so i just killed him anyways.
-
Because of MM i did finnish top 3 15 times in 1 night.....i came top in all 15 battles. Not bragging, just stating facts. MM is working in my favour tonight, it's the worst ranking battles i have ever seen in tanki. put it this way if that battle had of lasted for say 15 mins i would of been on a hundred kills no losses.
-
my very next battle.
-
They might just do that (16v16). But, then you get squads of 4 in a group, and if that group is strong it's lights out for the enemy team, especially if they have a hopper with crisis. I personally thought 16v16 was good, but that's only because i could adjust my style of play to accommodate such large numbers. In the end it's 50/50 if you get put in with a % of decent players who no what they are doing, if not your on your own and do the best you can.
-
Nope. It totally depends on cash.
-
What matters is having enough money to buy your way through all the ranks. Cash rules.....end of.
-
So why did you agree with him then????
-
Utter twoddle....learn over time ??? yeah right ok.
-
MM has and always will be unbalanced. Anyone who says any different is either deluded are a buyer, in which case it's win win for them. It's unbalanced because of the P2W system and also because the MM itself does not work, it never has, and the devs like it just the way it is, unbalanced means more cash.

Best place for a hopper anywhere on the map is UPSIDE DOWN ........RESULT.

Do the Devs even realize that their new "cool" ideas are ruining the game?

You have got @wolverine848 all wrong. He does not like the current set up any more than you do. Best way i can explain that you are both right but in different ways is like this....you say 3+2 =5 which is correct......he says 4+1=5 also correct. I agree with a lot of what you have said, also agree with @wolverine848 on what he says. I don't no you well enough here on the forum, but i do no wolverine and he is always nailed on when posting anything about the game. -

Agree with almost everything you said. But it is worthwhile muing MK6 as it can, and does help you out a great deal all the way to marshal rank, were you can unlock the MK7s for free if your MK6s are maxed out. I benefit from this, especially the protection modules which i nearly always concentrate on first. TO has become complicated, especially this last few months. The bottom line is, if you can afford the cash lay out then you are always going to be very competitive in battle, regardless what updates the devs roll out. There is one other point you didn't mention, THE SHOP. It has a overwhelming effect on players who will never be able to access the overpriced, yet must have combos that only buyers can get. The game is flawed, this we all no. Only buyers can turn the flawed nature of TO to their advantage. I still see a lot of skillful players in battle, FTP and P2W alike. The big difference is that the P2W players, especially at the low to mid ranks can and do play with a godmode attitude, due to their superior equipment which is nearly always are very close to being maxed out. This is the state of TO. I believe it's by design in order to generate cash. As for mobile players, well i think it does have a place in TO, but the downside to this as far as the devs are concerned is that most mobile players are kids. No cash revenue from kids, not unless mummy are daddy bail them out when they need to upgrade stuff. As for your post @ThirdOnion , it has merit, and some very good points were mentioned. Just wish more players had the intelligence to point out the dire misgivings not only of certain players that post in the forum (random nobodies) but of TO itself. -

From a youtube no lifer that uses gauss perhaps. -
So there is a defence against it, unlike hopper, no defence whatsoever. i rest my case.
-
I think you will find it does. upgrade speed up and on the 4th upgrade you actually earn a single damage increase if you speed it up, these are the facts.
-
Turret is extremely slow, and you have to pay nearly 5000 tankoins for the alt not to overheat. That's a lot of tankoins, and vulcan already had a nerf to it's damage, 12.5% from 50 to 44 and when you upgrade the turret it misses out quite a few before you can actually upgrade by 1 single increase. It may be strong in battle but you are handicapped by the upgrades and the gaps in between each upgrade. There are more OP combos than vulcan in battle, one in particular stands out. The one that allows you to kill enemies from on top of walls and buildings and has 3 overdrives rolled into 1. Any guesses which OP piece of equipment i'm going on about.

Seriously, i could save this game and make at least 70% of players happy in 6 months, and still generate a healthy profit every quarter for the company. I could put a text wall up explaining how this would be achieved that even a brain dead potato could understand. But as we all no it would not make the slightest bit of difference. The devs up at tanki kremlin HQ never act on player feedback. It's beneath them to admit that quite a few players have come up with some excellent ideas. So guys it's as you were. Gotta say i kinda agree with @Picassoo it's probs how it played out. -
Easy answer, mega expensive, mega op, and players like you saying it's balanced and perfectly ok the way it is, cause the devs no what they are doing.
