Interview with Torbon_BoS Greeting Tankers! Today I'll be interviewing with event administrator Torbon_BoS. In this interview, we'll be getting to know Torbon_BoS better as well as asking a few questions about how events are working and how they will continue to work. Let's get started! LunaStar: Hello Torben, Thanks for giving you precious time to me for a short interview. Could you please introduce yourself? Torbon_BoS: Hi, I'm Torben_BoS. You may already know, but my real name is Torben. I'm from Germany and still going to school. I'm 19 years old and spending most of my time with programming, helping in Tanki and of course playing online games. LunaStar: Well, that's awesome, Can you tell us how you started your career in this game? How did you find this game? Torbon_BoS: An old friend told me about this game back in 2012. We played it all day long. Later on, he left the game, but I stayed and started my career as an Event helper, that was more or less four years ago. Helped in a lot of Events, at this time they were under the eSports organisation, so I helped with the German clan section as soon as I became an organiser. And later I was promoted to be one of the two Admins of the Events section. LunaStar: Alright! That's interesting to find out that you're an admin. Are there any changes to events which we can expect to see in the future? Torbon_BoS: Well, we try to keep the events running. Since I'm not solely responsible for everything, my team and I discuss different ideas. We try to make players spend fewer drugs as well as host events in new time zones. We are also working on a better system to get links shared and having different players in each event. Our primary goal behind all this is to give players something new, rather than just joining a battle and trying to be the best. Something where they could have some fun and may even win a prize. LunaStar: Wow, that's nice. Ever you faced some difficulties being a candidate event helper? Torbon_BoS: That's long ago, I was promoted to an event helper pretty fast, and the only problem I can remember was too little time to help with school projects. LunaStar: What was your goal in this game? An Event admin or is it something other than that, which you haven't achieved it yet? Torbon_BoS: I had some goals in the past. My first one was becoming a marshal, which was the highest rank at this time. And I made it, took me some years, but I made it. Then I wanted to have a complete m3 garage, and I did this as well. At the moment I have the goal to help players, and that's why I spend my free time to organise events each day. LunaStar: After working for years finally you achieved your goal, That's pretty good. What is your favourite event? Which event do you think will benefit players? Torbon_BoS: My favourite event is Lucky Gold box since all players get the same chance to win and it's just a matter of luck. Also, who doesn't like gold boxes? :) The event with the best benefit for players is last man standing, you can win up to 20000 crystals, but you have to use a lot of supplies for that.
