  2. Yeah, for a hull augment, something like disabling your overdrive and not allowing equipment changes after you join the battle could be a good way to balance it out. It would still have very large advantages for some players.

New Augment for Railgun (And probably other turrets too, I just like Railgun the most) Function of the Augment: This augment would allow you to quickly swap between the augments that you already own in game. So if I was defending and someone was pulling my flag I might switch to freeze rail for the guaranteed slow and then LC for the damage. If i came across one opponent using rail prot, I might use destabilized rounds on them and then switching to death herald if I knew they were low. I think this could allow for some really cool game play in how you combine the different railgun augments Disadvantages: - This augment would be very depending on augments that you already have, so kinda useless for new players - If you have a ton of augments, it could make it awkward when trying to swap between them, as there might be like 20-30 options - For balancing reason there would have to be like a 10-20s cooldown between swaps probably, maybe even more. You may need smth else to help balance this out but thats kinda the most ive thought this out so far. I think this would be a new kind of augment and would be really cool, but I can see why it wouldnt be implemented as especially with status effects it could get really terrible if people could quickly swap between ap, emp, stun, and pulsar basically making any status immunities irrelevant unless you have Phoenix, which is why im only suggesting this for Railgun rn, as the status effect railgun augments already suck so no one really uses them, and I dont see this augment making a massive difference in that. As a side note, i think the main swaps would be between large caliber, death herald, destabilized rounds, and maybe freeze too if it keeps its 100% freeze chance.
  4. A part of me died while reading that in the patch notes and especially that saboteur will decrease the cooldown of the mines supply. I pretty much only use light hulls and my life is about to get so much worse with the increase in miners that's about to happen. The fact that they reduced it to just 2,000 dmg means that its probably better for medium hulls than it was before and its literally only light hulls being totally screwed over here ?

  6. that............. is very tragic. Like practically every week, I get asked "What are the benefits to joining a clan", and it's always a struggle to answer. ? Clans are rly nth more than a community, and that's only good if the people in it are friendly and active. There's no guaranteed benefit besides a tag by your name and access to a clan chat tab that gets like maybe 1 message a week.

    Bugs and Glitches Reports

    Issue: Loss of movement controls when holding down the fire button, and doesnt activate sniper mode(for shaft) or locking mode(for striker) and etc. (sometimes) Triggering it seems to be random. Changing to keyboard only input and then back to mouse only fixes it. Ive seen this bug on a variety of turrets, idk what causes it but its relatively common and very annoying. At one point I thought it was my mouse, but I've tried different mice and just trackpad and I've had the issue for all of them. Link to video: the first 30 seconds are somewhat irrelevant, the issue first arises at about 40 seconds and then I fix it in the video as well at about 60 seconds. Sorry about the low res, I believe the high quality version of the video is still processing on youtube.
  8. Are there any plans in the next year or so to upgrade the clan system, including but not only: adding clan levels, upgrading clan chat, clan tournaments, clan rankings, clan allies (mostly for clan battles), clan events, or clan missions?
  9. Cool. I hadn't checked up on any "Challenge Accepted" in months, so I didn't realize the prizes were extended to the entire top 1000 players. Top 1000 is actually somewhat possible for the average player.
  10. @MafDo these plans still exist, and is there a rough date or year for when they are perhaps planning on releasing it. I know currently they are working on the mobile version in HTML.
  11. I honestly dont think that this is too important, as the majority of clans just create a clan discord server which works quite well. It would be nice to have a bit more than just a clan chat or at least upgrade it though.
  12. A clan ranking would be great, especially for players looking to join a clan as they can easily distinguish between active clans and clans that will die out within a few weeks. I do believe that there should be rewards for these rankings tho, even if its just some amount of supplies sent to the members of X number of top clans and maybe unique paints for the Top 3 ranking clans that every member of the clan gets for the month, and then the next 3 most active clans get the paints for the next month and so on. In order to prevent the clans that have the most players such as a YouTubers clan with thousands of players from always ranking first, it could be a sort of ratio of total activeness per player in the clan, and then you would need say 20 members in your clan to qualify so that there are actual clans in the rankings and not just 1 person who made a clan by themself to then get the highest activity rating per player in the clan.
  13. This could also be great for the clan's management to see the activity levels of each of its players and perhaps reward more active players were certain ranks.

While I believe this has the potential to be abused, such as sending crystals to a very low-rank account from numerous other accounts, thus ruining the balance of low ranks, I believe if managed properly, this could be a great idea. Currently, I know numerous clans that do giveaways and contests, etc for their members, however the main limitation of these self-organized events by clans is the rewards they can give out as only some shop regions accept gift cards, and promo codes are quite difficult to obtain unless you are a Tanki YouTuber. Being able to send gifts such as containers or even just letting high-ranking clan members purchase promo codes to gift prizes would allow clans to do more with their self-planned events.

Then perhaps instead, it could be a request system, where anyone can request to join a team in a clan battle, and then the highest ranking member of which ever clan is on that side can choose to accept or deny the person. This could also allow individual players who are friends to join in clan battles without being in the clan. I'm thinking about little notification windows, such as when another person invites you to a battle, but it could be better to have another small button in a top corner of your screen that would open a separate window that shows everyone requesting to join your side of the battle as that way the requests wouldn't quickly expire if that player was busy playing at the moment the request was sent and couldn't accept instantly. It could also prevent sabotaging from someone spamming the request button to continuously send notifications to block your screen or hide other players' requests to join.

    @emrakul Do you mind me asking the source for that? Ive always had people asking me about the odds and I've been guessing at 1/7, as I know 1/8 would be everyone only buying the 990 tks pass, but I would love be to able to give a more exact answer if it is infact accurate. I don't need an exact percentage but any range of percentages would likely be more helpful than " ~1/7 ".

    so... you basically want to make a shaft shoot like a round from the magnum turret.... but have it fly straight. It just sounds like some weird mix of shaft scope, remote explosives striker, and magnum.

    Increase of ping

    I myself have only noticed very little ping change. However, I just moved, so my ping is bound to be different as I have a new network service provider and everything. I have, however, had numerous clan members and friends complaining about increased ping and asking around to see if other people have. Somewhere around 8 people in total who have been experiencing increased ping.

  20. As many of us--if not all--know, the servers go down every single night about 2 minutes before reset and typically lasts for 2-3 minutes. If you are in a game, the game ends, and then shortly after, you are booted to the start screen with an error message. Personally, I think this can be quite confusing for new players to have their battles end early and then be kicked off the server with no understanding as to why and only a message about a connection issue, thus I propose a simple message on that screen letting players know why the servers are closed (just for the duration of the server reset). While it is quite a small addition and wouldn't make much difference to the majority of the player base, I think it would help prevent misunderstandings among the new players about the quality of the servers--especially after the DDoS issues--and reassure them that everything is fine. As the Devs are currently implementing things like the tutorial videos in the garage and starting missions etc., for new players, I think this is similar in hopefully helping foster the next generation of tanki players. Short version: A special message when the server is restarting instead of just a connection error

    I tried not to mention too much about ranking rewards and etc, as suggestions to change those are against the rules, but I completely agree.

    Personally, I think that this is a bit too much, and too many players could end up receiving a new legendary augment or skin, etc. It may be better to have two special containers for reaching the GrandMaster level, and the other two rewards could be a reward that is exclusive to the ranked mode, which would also be quite cool. However, I suppose it all depends on how hard it is to reach each of these levels. Overall, I completely agree and think this would be a great addition to Tanki.

    Yeah, I think you could do many cool things with new ranks, including if players could receive more exp or something for defeating more challenging opponents than a normal lobby of players, which could also be implemented in low ranks as well.

    I apologize in advance for the vague title. I expect this to be a long post as this is an incredibly important aspect of the game, and I have much to say about it. Main Issue: The main problem currently is that there are legend ranks who are Legend 1 with about 1.7 Million xp, and there are legend ranks with tens or hundreds of millions of xp and over 10,000 in-game hours. Obviously, the skill level and garage of these 2 players would be drastically different on average, and this should be acknowledged. Brief overview: -Add more 'special' ranks after Legend for players to strive for that are difficult to achieve (similar to the idea of trophies with missions but for ranks). The main idea is just to create prestigious ranks that are difficult to obtain in order to change from the average player being at the highest rank. ~4 fixed ranks (possibly the equivalent of Legend ranks 50, 100, 200, and 300) ~2 fluid ranks (possibly for top 500 and top 100 players rank-wise) -Potential benefits for each rank achieved Currently, the majority of active Tanki players are legend rank. I understand why this is, as it does not take too much time to reach the max rank now, and so I know a decent amount of players who have brought even 3-4 accounts up the max rank for them to use. However, I myself and I believe many others dislike this. I am not trying to ask for Tanki to make it harder to reach Legend Rank, as that would be undoing a previous update, and the ranks leading up to Legend are important for unlocking new equipment. What I do believe is that more ranks should be added into the game. There is a large difference in not just skill but also the garage of a player who has recently reached Legend Rank, with maybe 200-300 in-game hours, when compared to a player who is around Legend 100 or 200 with thousands of in-game hours, and I think that these differences should be acknowledged. Im not sure how much XP exactly is needed to reach legend rank, but I am going to assume that it is around 1.7 Million (as a Legend 2 is around 1.8M). The issue is that some players have about 300 in-game hours and 1.7M xp, whereas others have thousands of in-game hours and tens to hundreds of millions of xp, and for the most part, they are treated the same. I believe that 4 ranks should be added to the game at the equivalent of Legend 50, Legend 100, Legend 200, and Legend 300. I don't think that each of these new ranks should give access to new levels of turrets such as the previous ranks, but instead, provide the player with various benefits that could be anything from a special color on the tab screen and a private chat for those with special ranks to maybe even a status similar to premium the highest rank (These rewards are only a few examples, the possibilities are quite large). The main point of these 4 ranks would be to acknowledge the players who have spent a lot of time on Tanki and make them more easily distinguished from other players while also encouraging players to continue to rank up even after reaching Legend rank. In order to keep things competitive among the top Tanki players, I believe there should be ~2 more ranks that depend on your rank in relation to others rather than a specific XP requirement. For example, " " rank for the top 500 players, and " " rank for the top 100 players, which would also have their own benefits. In addition to providing benefits to hard-working players, these ranks could also assist with various other things, such as balancing matchmaking battles. I personally don't believe that these players should not be able to play in battles with low-level legend ranks, but instead, Tanki could balance the number of special ranked players or each team or increase the rewards in terms of crystals, and XP a team receives when playing against numerous opponents of higher rank. (Of course, I'm sure someone else in the MatchMaking category will have a better or more in-depth suggestion). This is mostly just an introduction of the idea; if people have ideas for specific benefits for a rank or a better distribution of these ranks, then please reply with your ideas. *As a side note... 1 container is really not a great reward for these ranks that would hopefully be difficult to obtain* Thanks for your time.
