    New skin: Viking GT

Great, another skin for the almighty Thunder and Viking... ...while my Vulcan still only has it's XT Skin. ? Also, if you only get Thunder GT (or vice versa, only get Viking GT), I'm willing to bet the skin won't complement any others in the game right now. So you need to get both or else the GT skin would look out of place. Not that it already did look out of place. Also, how do paints work on this skin? Does the skin override the equip paint and you're forced to wear that red and white color scheme as long as you have the skin equipped?

    Hammer's "Legacy Skin"

Ohhh okay thanks. I thought my memory was starting to fail for a moment. Hmm, fascinating. Well, if they end up looking all dull and low-poly like the "real" Legacy Skins are, I'm probably not gonna be interested in owning one. Honestly if they're making up legacy skins for turrets that never had them to begin with, it would be nice if took the opportunity to make the new legacy skins more modern in quality. I'm not saying they should stray from the legacy-esque design and color scheme, I just would like it if they gave the skins more edges and polygons, to have a similar model quality to the HD and Ultra Skins.

    Hammer's "Legacy Skin"

So I came back to the game and discovered the Hammer LC skin was added to the game. Is this an entirely new skin the developers made recently? Because I don't ever recall seeing Hammer having this skin back when it was first released sometime in 2014.

    Episode 305 of the V-LOG!

You guys keep spelling it wrong! The turret's name is "B0-NK". Letter B, Zero, a dash in between, Letter N, and Letter K

What is Semyon Kirov up to now?

Yeah, I believe his name is "Alex Lynch". Lol, if you watch the vlogs from 2016, 2017 or 2018, and you watch today's vlogs, his voice has changed A LOT.

    Ultra Weekend July 9th - 11th

You know, I would've invested money into this had you guys named it the "Gamma Lightning Bundle" and recolored the Glow Paint to be red.
  7. You know, if the devs were less greedy, we could've had HD versions of the M0, M1, and M2 skins, and they would change as we upgrade our equipment, just like the old days. But unfortunately, they seem more focused on releasing random OP Augments and more and more random status effects nowadays. And also implementing "unnecessary" updates just to compliment those Augment/Status Effect additions they did.

    Tesla

Too much damage. Tesla has higher Damage Per Second, longer range, and infinite ammo, compared to stuff like Firebird and Freeze. In fact, with Heat Immunity going around, I doubt there's any reason to use Firebird nowadays, now that adding Tesla and making it's base stats far superior to Firebird's ends up giving another suitable Firebird replacement for players who enjoy short-ranged combat. Honestly, 99% of Tesla's parameters are fine as they are now. The only thing that needs changing is a hefty damage reduction on the normal shots. Or an overall DPS nerf by further increasing the normal shot reload.

    Tesla

    Ahh, I didn't see it on https://en.tankiwiki.com/Updates

    Tesla

You actually were correct! For a few weeks, that is. FunFact: When Tesla was first released, it's shot reload was 0.85 seconds. Which allowed Tesla to do 1153 Damage Per second at Mk7 20/20. (980 Damage divided by a Reload of 0.85 equals 1152.94 Damage Per Second) Which means, it had higher DPS than even Isida XD - Isida Mk7 20/20 only has 1150 DPS. BUT: There was a secret balance change that probably happened recently (I think It was secret, because I didn't hear of it nor is it in the patch notes) but now Tesla's normal shot reload was increased to 0.9 seconds. So now, it only has 1088.88 Damage Per Second at Mk7 20/20. Even then, it's still pretty high though.

    Ultra Weekend June 18th - 20th

Imagine earning Tesla from the Ultra Container, only to find out you won it afterwards from that birthday giveaway they said they were gonna do. What a waste of an Ultra Container. Or a waste of a giveaway winner.

Which tanki Event you enjoyed most?

My favorite event was when they updated the game and we got the Shards system.

Tesla Goes Live on Test server

Tesla's Mk8 Statistics (Based on My Observations): Damage Per Normal Shot: 800 Normal Shot Reload Time: Less than 1 second, but not as fast as 0.5 seconds. Let's say 0.75 seconds for now. Ball Lightning Damage On Impact: 1,500 Ball Lightning Reload Time: 4 Seconds Normal Shot Maximum Range: 20 Meters Range of Maximum Normal Shot Damage: 20 Meters Ball Lightning Maximum Travel Distance: About 90 Meters Range of Maximum Ball Lightning Damage: Unknown. I didn't test this yet, so I don't know if the ball lightning's damage gets decreased after it has flown too far, similar to Twins' and Ricochet's projectiles. Ball Lightning Impact Force: 330 Normal Shot Impact Force: 0 Tesla's Special Abilities: Unlike Shaft, Striker, and Gauss, Tesla has it's firing modes reversed. Tesla's primary firing mode (the zap shots) is done by holding down the firing button. Meanwhile, its secondary firing mode (the ball lightning) is done by simply tapping the firing button and letting go. The ball of lightning has a splash effect when it hits an enemy or other obstacle. Because of this, if a Tesla is too close to someone when the ball hits, the Tesla player will deal self-damage to themselves. The ball of lightning's damage is not affected by any supply. Using Double Damage will not increase it's damage to 3,000, and using Double Armor will not reduce an opponent Tesla's ball lightning damage down to 750. All balls of lightning will deal 1,500 damage on impact, no matter what. The ball of lightning has no obvious vertical auto-aim, at least based on observation. Your allies using Tesla can also use your own ball lightning to chain their shots off. Your enemies using Tesla can also use your own ball lightning to chain their shots off. Meaning the ball lightning you fire can actually sometimes hurt you as it gives the opponent Tesla some extra range as well. Tesla's normal shots can chain off multiple enemies, even without needing the use of the ball of lightning. The damage is then decreased proportionally, as follows: Shooting 2 enemies at once: 50% decreased damage Shooting 3 enemies at once: 66% decreased damage Shooting 4 enemies at once: 75% decreased damage Shooting 5 enemies at once: 80% decreased damage Shooting 6 enemies at once: 83% decreased damage Shooting 7 enemies at once: 86% decreased damage Shooting 8 enemies at once: 87.5% decreased damage Shooting 9 enemies at once: 89% decreased damage Shooting 10 enemies at once: 90% decreased damage And so on For example, you normally deal 800 damage per shot. However, if you hit two enemies at once, the damage will be 800 divided by 2, which equals 400. This is a 50% decrease in base damage. If you hit three enemies at once, the damage to each enemy is 800 divided by 3, which equals 266.66. This is a 66% decrease in base damage. And so on. Tesla's critical damage of 800 will never be penalized. Meaning you will always have critical shots that deal 800 damage, even if you are shooting 10 enemies at once. The turret will always be able to fire normal shots, no matter what. Normal shots do not consume energy/ammo and they do not need energy/ammo to fire, allowing you to keep firing even after launching balls of lightning. The reload speed of the ball lightning is reduced by around 50% whenever you fire normal shots while the energy/ammo bar is not 100% filled. Tesla has a very low cone angle based on my observations. Lower than Isida's to be exact.

Ball Lightning does impact when it directly hits an enemy and explodes.

Tanki 12th Birthday Special Mission Mega-Gifts

Thanks a lot for the Ultra Containers! So when Tanki Online turns 100 years old on June 2109, does this mean we'll get gifts of 100 of each supply, 100 Containers, and 100 Ultra Containers?
  17. Gamma_Lightning

    Let's Discuss Striker!

You must be a pro or the Striker modules are ineffective if you somehow managed to get 18 kills and 8 deaths even with 66% of the enemies having protection against you lol.

Tanki Picture of the Day - Have any?

? You're welcome :D But next time, put me in it and get one of our lesser members to take the pic. Just kidding lol. I felt like CrystalGolem was the center of attention. Everyone else was a blur in my eyes. Again, just kidding lol.

What of these equipment would you like to be added next?

I mean, they can implement some Tanki X things and keep the Tanki Online accounts. The game will still be called "Tanki Online", it'll just inherit some of the good aspects about Tanki X.
  21. Not really. In my opinion, Shaft and Magnum are more powerful turrets than Vulcan, especially with Shaft's annoying ability to now one-shot people whose hulls are even higher-leveled than Shaft is. And Magnum has the 2 second reload mechanic at Mk8, additionally it's basically Thunder but you can also shoot behind literal obstacles. Oh, and Isida is super annoying with it's insanely high DPS. There is literally almost no chance of surviving an Isida that manages to sneak up to you. Noooooo If this happens, than it will suck for non buyers who bought Incendiary Band but don't have enough money to buy Heat Immunity.
  22. Was it the period after Vulcan got the projectile rework (February 2020)? OP Augments?? Honestly, the only OP Augment Vulcan has is Adrenaline lol. I'll break down all of it's Augments (and exclude Heat Immunity. These Augments are only OP when paired with Heat Immunity): Reinforced Aiming Transmission is great and makes Vulcan a truly versatile turret in many battles, however it still gets beaten by Gauss, Magnum, and other long-range snipers. Additionally, the reduced vertical auto aim makes the turret quite weak in maps with varied terrain, such as Massacre and Highways. Shooting Speed Regulator is awesome for countering the Hoppers who use Mouse Controls, but the damage reduction due to the reduced firing rate means that it'll take 15% longer to destroy most people. This Augment is only good if you're facing people who hide and pop out from cover to shoot, and immediately drive back into cover. Otherwise, if most of your enemies decide to simply charge in, you're better off using Default Vulcan or another Augment for higher damage. Incendiary Band is honestly mainly useful only if you have a repair kit handy or if you can afford to lose a portion of your health. Otherwise, if you would rather have save your own health, you're better off using default Vulcan or some other augment. This augment means you will inevitably need to do self-damage, otherwise you are practically using a downgraded Vulcan, as the reduced projectile speed greatly reduces the turret's effective range. Rubberized Rounds is very fun to play with and when used properly, you can satisfyingly troll your enemies. However, most of the time, when you manage to figure out the optimal position to shoot in order to utilize the ricocheting effect, your Vulcan would've lost much of it's available ammo and it will only be a matter of time before you start to overheat. These Augments aren't OP at all lol. They're only game-breaking when used with Heat Immunity, as it allows Rubberized Rounds and Incendiary Band to forever utilize their bouncing and burning abilities without any worries of overheating, and it greatly increases the damage potential of Reinforced Aiming Transmission and Shooting Speed Regulator, thus giving them unlimited damage potential due to not overheating.
  23. You guys are mislead. Look at this poll data here: If you notice, Vulcan has the second highest number of votes for "best in current meta"...... Well, I have news for you: Vulcan is not the best turret in the game. In fact, it’s actually really balanced and isn’t very overpowered at all. However, Heat Immunity is though.

What of these equipment would you like to be added next?

I don't really have one specific item as the only equipment I ever use is Vulcan and Dictator....meaning I don't really care which type of equipment being added is next (except Hulls. No more hulls. We have too many hulls now). But I just voted new Turrets. I'm kinda getting bored of seeing the same 14 turrets in the game. Tanki's been a thing for almost 12 years now yet they only have 14 turrets. I know the game's been getting other forms of content, but to me at least, turrets are like the main aspect about the game. The turret you choose is probably one of the biggest factors in determining your play style in battles. After that, you pick the hull that best compliments the turret, and than the modules for protection, and than drones for support, and finally alterations once you've gotten used to using the turret. So overall, I would very much like to see new turrets in the game. They don't get boring quick and unlike some alterations, turrets are very easy to obtain and try out. That being said, there are other things I would love to see as well: New Paints are always welcome. They barely affect gameplay at all and some of them are real good-looking. I'm gonna be honest, when I say I would like to see new alterations, I do not mean the following things: Burning Alts Stunning Alts EMP Alts Armor Piercing Alts Freezing Alts Universal turret alts I want alterations that are unique and specific to each turret. Otherwise, there really isn't a reason to use stuff like Firebird if all the turrets can inflict afterburn, or the other status effects. And too much EMP will be super annoying. Yes, new skins are great. Same reason for new paints. Also, I would LOVE to see some Dreadnought Skins get added to Tanki. If you guys don't know, Dreadnaught skins came from Tanki X, and they look so cool! Just look at this dope Dictator Dreadnought skin: This is great too, but I would like for it to be released alongside other new items in the game as well. Basically, update the graphics as a side project. Otherwise, I'd get bored. Sure, the game would look fresh and more modern and crisp, but if there isn't nothing that's truly "new", than I'd get bored after a couple months.

    What gets on your nerves?

True.......but having them jump away at the last moment is super annoying to me, especially when I finally manage to almost kill them after they dodge all my Vulcan's shots due to the mouse-control strafing ability. And when I was in the lower ranks, Hoppers were everywhere and there would be numerous instances where 4 or 5 Hoppers would gang up on me and stun me repeatedly and spam-hop away. Same with Hopper in the lower ranks. Too many people use Wasp and the Bomb-Spams are getting super annoying, especially when my only upgraded hull is Dictator. It's just bomb after bomb after bomb. Luckily, Hopper being released has reduced the number of Wasp users by a bit. Yeah I can understand that XD But as a Dictator user (and Dictator is the only hull I own besides Hunter Mk1 by the way), I'm annoyed that I get insta-killed whenever someone knows they can't beat me with pure skill...... And Viking's the most popular hull in the game so having the longest overdrive charge time doesn't really matter that much if a third of the people in each high rank battle are using Viking. It's just constant insta kills against me. My reaction when there's at least 2 or three of them in the enemy team: ? Nowadays, it doesn't seem like you need skill to win anymore. It seems like winning battles depends on two factors: How fast you can press shift. (So that you can make your team GodMode before the other team can) Money (To buy ridiculously OP equipment)
