  2. In my opinion, strafing for hovering hulls provides them with such a massive advantage compared to tracked hulls, and this is why nearly every game's scoreboard is topped by hovering hulls. I don't know if anything can be done to balance hulls, strafing seems like a fundamental property of hovering hulls.
  3. The new Magnum augment looks quite fun from what I've seen of it. I LOVE gameplay that has a high risk, high reward aspect to it. But, this augment will just be another broken augment, simply because Magnum's current mechanics are unhealthy. High risk does not exist for Magnum anymore, anyone can guarantee direct hits with the boring aim assist. Anyways. Why are Magnum players the most annoying kind to exist? They need not to take any risks to damage you from anywhere. How do you fix this? Remove Magnum's aiming system ASAP!

  6. I rarely take the time to comment here, but I will always insist that the aiming system for Magnum needs to go and is to blame for its downfall. Yes, Magnum needed a nerf, but the recent changes it has undergone are for the worse. I believe that the reason Magnum was so toxic to face was because it required no skill for anyone to use. With it, you could get direct hits on anyone while completely staying out of their attack ranges, and repeatedly apply annoying status effects as well. Thanks to the aiming system, it took no effort to do this. Now, after the nerfs to Magnum, the only thing that has changed is the strength factor. You can still directly hit anyone from any range with absolutely zero skill required but can't deal as much power per shot. So now, you deal less damage and cannot capitalize whenever you apply the occasional status effect due to the slow firing rate. Against someone who has full protection against it, status Magnums are unplayable. People may celebrate, but for players (like me) who love the potential that Magnum could have and hate the brainless behavior it still currently encourages, this turret will always remain in the bottom tier until something changes for the better. So, on this low note, here is how I would have liked to see the Magnum issue addressed. First, I would have liked to see the aiming system removed, so it actually requires a nonzero level of effort to deal damage. And secondly, I would have liked to see the status effect radius decreased back to direct hits only, and have status effects be guaranteed on direct hits only. These changes would make Magnum a higher-skilled, higher-paying turret, and most importantly, keep it balanced (not trash, and especially not broken). However, it is clear that not everyone's intentions are to bring out the game's potential and maintain balance for all. But, if you at least gave this a read, I appreciate you. ?

  8. Maybe it's just me, but the new shot indicator for magnum is very distracting whenever I aim because it's constantly moving. I hope the devs consider adding an option to enable/disable it, otherwise magnum will be unplayable for me.
