Oh well. I wondered how they'd compensate all the tankcoins from the "we're sorry" missions. There was quite a considerable amount given out in total. Hell, I even created alts to claim free tankcoins back when you didn't even need to play the game to claim them. Guess that's how it is then, I should have wasted those coins on the (bad-mid) events they proposed since then to make us waste our free cash. But eh! That means that maybe now the events will be better (tankifunds in particular)! Back to sleep I go. -
"There's no immortality or a giveaway game, [...] if you get destroyed respawn and try again with a different tactic!" Yeah uh no? You can last longer than everyone with augments (lifeguard, or the unfamous infinite mines). You can't have a different "tactic" without augments or changing equipment (which has a VERY long cooldown, and the opponents can also do it). Tell that to newbies: you NEED augments to play the game, if you don't, you'll die by a guy with a better augment that you. Don't know which augments are good and which are bad? Too bad, get owned, eventually learn and realize you've wasted your time in bad hulls/turrets/augments, cope! You do know? Good, now deal with 9999 GS legends and smurfs with perfect combinations.

Too many loading screens, it's really unenjoyable to click on the "missions" icon and have 2 loading screens before actually seeing the missions. Also, no, I am not spending the free tankcoins you gave me. I will wait for a tankifund, like everyone else. Yes, we do not care about economy.

The game is not fun, that's the problem. You can't play out of META without getting melted. Unless you max out everything that is. But that takes a long time, and since the way to maxed out isn't fun, why do it? The solution is getting more new players (= more GS variety in matchmaking), sadly that is not happening since it is very frustrating to rank up fighting against smurfs who know what is good. Yes, everything is clear and explained in tutorials, it is simple to learn. But it doesn't matter to explain everything if half of everything you learn to use (including TURRETS and HULLS) is not VIABLE to play with. -
A true beginner friendly update, that's handy. Now we need ads for the game and we'll be swarming and finally have a balanced matchmaking thanks to the player count going up! I'm optimistic aren't I? Let's hope it goes this way!

@MEXICAN-SKY It seems we do agree on the augments, very nice. Even if it is pointless, we shall keep talking about our less augments argument over the next VLOGs or update logs. Good day.

Whilst grenades sure are a nice addition as they involve a new kind of mechanic, supplies are quite simple : To illustrate, the healing supply is literally a green wrench, it's easy to figure out, like the other supplies. The only thing mildly hard to figure is that you don't get the full effect without a max drone, that's what needs an explanation. I am about to make quite a wild suggestion here, but I want to point out how hard augments are to figure out for beginners. You can't see what an augment do unless you check your garage by checking out the corresponding icon in the player TAB, and beginners won't understand the icons in the player tab in the first place, and those augments change the turret into a different one sometimes. -- Thus I suggest we turn most of the augments that are not very basic (as in reloading after a kill or the like) into grenade types. Short range grenades, long range grenades, status effects, etc. You may think I am crazy for suggesting that but that's the only way I see things going in a ""better"" way, as in more fun, for players. In addition to that, it'll be easier for beginners to spot, say like, a BIG GREEN grenade or in contrast a SMALL BRIGHT RED grenade than to understand why the medium range turret just killed them from 30 meters away or why that specific striker is going full auto on you.

The augment argument can be turned over to defend the deleted drones, I will not repeat it but hey. Problem is, drones were visible to others. The augments are shown on the unreadable player TAB and the turret still looks the same (you don't expect hammer to turn full auto or a gauss to arcade one-shot you). You cannot read usernames from far away either, so even if you do read the TAB you cannot really associate it with what you see. To add to that, drones were gimmicky and more predictable, and they didn't change functions. Augments completely change the turret into another without notice.

50 levels for modules? By Jove, I can't max up 4 of them in the current state of the game, it'll take even longer afterward!

I am not usually a man that flexes about a lucky roll of the dice but good GOD this is not what I expected from those. Compensates for not winning the giveaway nicely.

The augments damn it! Not the protection modules! The augments are the one thing complicating everything, not drones and especially not modules.

I do not understand the augments. Drones are a whole separated tab in the garage, most innovating augments are sticking with turrets(/hulls in the future) next to skins and shot effect. -> Difficult to locate. You could see all available drones and their effects, only crystals and coins augments can be see, and they're not all of them. -> Difficult system to understand. Drones had their own separate design and an effect solely on your hull/supplies, augments are literally only visible when pressing tab, who can even tell apart what an augment does from it's bloody icon. -> This, combined with the above point, makes it hard to even remotely guess what your opponent is using. Writing this is pointless now, but you get my point. The augments are confusing, not the drones. Simplifying the game is removing/REWORKING some augments. Simpler icons, simpler effects, if not, good luck explaining a F2P why the sniper turrets are better healers than the designated healing turret. Good day. -
