Nah, the idea is for the devs to profit at other peoples expense.

I don't know if they read our complaints or not. But what I do know is that they don't listen to their players, that's for sure unless they can make a quick profit from it. Pretty much the majority of their decisions are based off on making a profit.

At this point it clear that the devs planned to run with the money they scammed from gullible players over the years. They really do not intend on fixing anything unless it negatively affects their revenue. One may claim that "they are trying to come up with a fix" but really, there's no shred of evidence to support it. All we got is their word and given the fact that they lied to us and kept us in the dark on many things over the years means that their word is useless. They make Pinocchio seem like a very trustworthy fellow. So my best bet is that they're running with the money.
