Well, don't take my word for it. It's just a personal judgement, I didn't play with it much. Go to the test server and compare stats yourself.

I tested the weapons, and by far, this is going to be a fantastic balance. Smokies improved crits and higher ROF makes it a blast to play. I'm not super impressed with firebird, the new burning method is still confusing and idk how it helps balance anything. Twins is about the same, the ROF really hasn't changed, nor has the velocity of the plasma balls. Rail is still strong, and there isn't much difference with the old and new rail but its still good. Haven't tested isi at all actually, it looks pretty good. Thunder IMO when I used it, almost seemed nerfed, as I had to shoot a ton of times to kill even a hornet with no thunder protection. Freeze is alright, it doesn't really seemed to have changed much. But what really has changed is the Rico. Oh my goodness, this turret is just like it was in the old days. The plasma ball velocity is very very fast, and the damage seems pretty good. Shafts turret rotation speed has gotten a huge buff, and I love how you can shoot arcade shots again. Looking forward to more updates. :)

Isida self heal is extremely powerful. But... Burn damage is better. :D

Indeed it is. This combo is completely OP at brigadier, as m3 rail isn't meant to unlock till general rank, so having It at brigadier would be a wise choice.

The only reason I would think of buying the med m2 kit is because of the paints.... Other then that, it's not worth it for me at this point.

Freeze, rail, thunder. Shafts don't actually kill me much despite being an avid hornet user. :P

Gonna save for the hull kit once I rank. I'm set now on getting all m2 weapons I can get at my rank. :D

It is a extremely good weapon, don't get me wrong.. But it's play style is extremely hard to get used to. It's so hard to just run because you want to see your target burn and die... And if he doesn't die, you don't know why... That's my issue. But with time, I will master it.

If everyone is voting viking, then this sale is not available to me... :( Plus I won't have enough crystals for the sale anyway... :(

However, be forewarned. After only 2 days of playing it, it definitely has some annoying things about it. 1. Every short range weapon has a special defense ability to keep it alive. Isida can self heal while damaging tanks, freeze can circle around enemies due to the freeze effect, but firebirds only defense is its burn damage. This enables it to run if needed. Unfortunately, you can't always run so expect to die a lot unless you have an escape route. 2. People will self destruct a lot in front of you, you just have to deal with it. With MU's I believe it to be super powerful, but I think it's average IMO. But it is definitely a huge improvement from m1, don't get me wrong.

In some ways, it is better, as I have it myself. Firebird is unique though, and I like unique.

Oh man, I love my new firebird. It's just so good. Can't wait to keep playing more with it. A good investment indeed. :D

I might wait for a sale now, but I got firebird m2. Such a good gun.

I would say number 2 as well if you're good at both and have a good hull for both of them, however I would recommend freeze and hornet m3 option if you're very good at freeze.

Update: after a long desicion, I finally bought fire m2. Gonna test it out later today for first impressions. ^_^

So, by tomorrow I'll have enough crystals for any m2 I like. I can buy firebird m2, rail m2, Rico m2, shaft m2, and mammoth m2. Which should I get?

:lol: Before rebalance, shaft m3 could one shot any hull except mammoth m3, and all they would have to do to kill the mammoth after they do that is to do a quick shot and boom they're dead. The shaft was actually balanced back then. XD shaft is still a good weapon, I do not doubt that.

Firebird m2 Is coming... Tomorrow. :D can't wait to try it out, I bet it's a way better improvement from m1, as m1 is not so good.

I'm a pretty good all rounder as far as play style, I like playing polygons and silence and various other maps. I only have 1 m2 hull but I plan on getting much more. Right now I'm focused on turrets. I'll probably get fire m2 so that all my close range weapons are m2. My hornet is m2 btw. M3 hornet. You definitely want to get m3's as early as you can.

My goal is to get all the m3 kits. It's very possible, and I definitely want the light m3 kit. Such an OP combo at brigadier.

Alright, I have a bit of a dilemma. By tomorrow I will have enough crystals to buy firebird m2, rail m2, and Rico m2. I can only choose one. Which one should I buy?

Way to high, if I saved up enough, I could get that many. I only have 9k due to MUs. TUBM has 200k crystals?
