they are horrible! I don't want to be the annoying dude around, but the game is continuously becoming less and less about fighting with tanks. I know this is an old issue and maybe I am nostalgic remembering what made me want to start playing a game with tanks and not spacecrafts, planes, etc: tanks are like old fashion battles, players need to have skills and be positioned strategically in the field. But every time I see tanks floating, taking off like airplanes, moving at ridiculously fast speeds, destroying very strong tanks like they were made out of butter, all of this due to augments and features that are very distant from a battle focused on tanks, I realize the game has changed a lot and the idea of developing strategies and fighting battles with traditional, old fashion tanks, is pretty much over.

@Kimura excellent remarks. btw, what about the new icons? I know they do not change anything significantly in terms of the battles themselves, but the new icons are horrible.

topic merged what, where, when, how? Can't you guys be more specific, get us links to the subject? am i asking too much? I wrote about a PERSISTENT problem, a very BAD and annoying problem that is still there in a daily basis. That being said, I understand tanki hates pro battles and is doing everything possible to ruin this type of battle since it brings much less money to the table, of course.

I have noticed the presence of players whose names appear on the list of tanks of a match, but when you enter the game, their tanks are not there. As a result, these "non-active" tanks are completely altering the fairness of the game, since their presence counts for the game, but their actions is nonexistent. I have printed screens that cover more than 30 minutes of a match with a tank named "XvX" appearing on the front list, but with ZERO points for more than 30 minutes! I was witnessing the problem and decided to do several screenshots. I did not enter the game myself, specially because it was impossible to enter to help that team since the total numbers of players had been reached. But if I had managed to enter the game, I'd have realized that this same tank is NOT THERE. Nobody inside the game would know it because the name of the tank appears in the initial list. I have been in situations where the list says we have 8 tanks, but only 7 players are in fact in combat. One of them is simply missing, non-active. The worst part is that instead of simply disappearing from the match after a few minutes, this "nonexistent" tank continues there for the entire match, preventing other players to join in and help. Please, fix this problem. It is happening in a daily basis. In the past, I would get very mad at players who would simply do nothing during battles. I used to curse then and for that reason I have been banned forever from the chat. However, this time it is a different problem. These non-active tanks ONLY appear on the initial list, taking a spot from another player, but their tanks are not in the battle. I have a series of images that prove what happened earlier today: the first screenshot I took was from 6:34PM. The last screenshot was from 7:04PM. In other words, 30 minutes with zero points from "XvX". That player was certainly NOT in the game, so the team was actually playing with 7 tanks. The other team was playing with 8 tanks. The game is gradually becoming unplayable, unless you have a tank that flies, that is almost indestructible, that does things that are completely removed from a competitive game. Not only the extensive of supplies, powerful drones and all kinds of extra power, the lack of balance is becoming more and more evident. I was just facing a ricochet that could fire at enormous speed. I have ricochet protection at its maximum and it was worthless. But then you encounter the same thing with Tesla turret, not to mention a paladin hull with extra power on. That tank plays for several minutes without being destroyed, killing dozens of tanks, even those with extra protection. So, "congratulations" to the developers for working so hard to make this game so very much worse than what it used to be. The pro battles are still somewhat fun, but even those are full of problems, specially when tanks are listed in the battles, but they are actually NOT there. Nobody else can enter your team because there is a "ghost tank" taking one of the slots. In any case, pro battles are still a bit more competitive. I hope you guys do not destroy that as well.

They are certainly NOT AWARE of anything. We are wasting our time trying to play with no success. The only thing developers seem to care about is to create UNBALANCED weapons, so kids will have to beg to their parents to give them money so they will rush and buy the stuff in order to win. It is the SHEEP phenomenon once again. But when the servers are not functional for HOURS, and DOZENS of players cannot play, they seem to IGNORE what's happening completely. But wait, the game has been around FOR ONLY 12 YEARS, so they are barely starting it. It is common to run into problems when you only have 12 years of experience (irony intended, of course).

Just finished a battle with about 16 players, 8 each team. By the end of the game 80% of the players had switched to Tesla. Even with 49% of protection against TESLA (the max for PRO BATTLES is 50%), my tank LOST for tanks with ZERO PROTECTION against my turret. My Hull is pretty decent too. TESLA is obviously completely out of balance, otherwise we wouldn't have a vast majority of players switching to TESLA during the battle. By the way, we won the battle, but I am more concerned with the FAIRNESS of this game. Also, Tesla is so lame. These new turrets are far removed from traditional (and much more fun) weapons. BUT now TANKI even has FLYING TANKS, which proves that we are moving towards the destruction of the game as a nice experience. They should start a new game with flying saucers, airplanes, etc, etc.

THE lack of BALANCE now is outrageous!!! TESLA has become super powerful, completely distorting the balance of the game. Is it too complicated to keep things working well??? I mean, YEARS and YEARS go by and these issues keep getting WORSE.

I wouldn't even know how to start. It does look like there was a competition for the WORST new layout. The new visuals are just horrible. Can't you go back to the original symbols/colors?? They were so very much better!! And I can already notice some changes in balance that are really unfair. I have a pretty decent tank, but got killed with single shots of whatever symbol that was. In the past I could understand the symbol by its shape and color. Now the symbols of the turret that killed you are all white, with very poor design. Unbelievably bad update.

Got a bit confused about what the Forum is about. To clarify, I copied and pasted the info below extracted from Tanki's own website. A Forum is a place on the internet where people can leave messages or discuss particular subjects with other people at the same time; Discussion forums are a way of contacting people with similar interests from all over the world. As such, Tanki forum is a place where tankers from all over the world can share their thoughts and opinions about the game, take part in various discussions... It clearly states that we, players-customers, can leave messages to other players-customers to discuss particular subjects. I was not aware there is a list of subjects we cannot touch. My comments do have a broad range of targets: from personal opinions to censorship; from making the game better and fair, to people who think they can speak for others without consequences. It is sad that posts are considered offensive simply because they manifest different points of view. As far as I remember, nobody was offended, no bad words were used. Much on the contrary, pointing out different views of a particular subject is a way of bringing people to discuss real issues - it is not about creating a personal arena. For instance, one has to be aware of the legal responsibility developers ought to have with people who have spent money on the game - and therefore established a commercial relationship with the company. If you spend money on a vehicle, and the vehicle gets broken all of a sudden, you don't tell the company simply offering your support wishing them luck. You demand they fix your car right away and you do not recommend that vehicle to other potential buyers. This is called real life. But I understand it is nice to pretend this is Disneyworld.

you might want to revise your understanding of the pronoun WE. It represents a collective of people. When you say "WE ARE", you automatically entitled yourself as the spokenman for the entire community of players.

SPEND MORE TIME improving the game and less time censoring players. Thanks. I used to play Tanki several years ago. It is sad to see the game getting worse and worse every time. It looks like the primary mission of the developers is to make the game less interesting and obviously attract players with money and nothing else.

please, do not treat players like children. Some are children, indeed, but not everyone. You guys censor posts that are not favorable, posts that make important criticism to the game. That's why you like to ban people who engage the players during battles. Do not use the word "insult" to quality all negative critique. That's low, but I understand I should not expect something more mature. Official abuse of power is one of society's most damaging and enduring problems.
