Oh yes, the lovely altruistic tanki development team making the game "better" again. What are the players even getting out of this? The equivalent of tankoin golds? The introduction of these things merits an entire new currency? I think not. Hazel's real problem is that premium currency can be obtained right now without buying. This is the "problem" he's trying to solve, not whatever tracking issue he talks about (which doesn't make much sense anyways). Just give it 1 or 2 years after the introduction of rubies where certain things/events can only be purchased/entered with tankoins, or "tankions" as they call it in the vlog. I don't play genshin but if certain things can be purchased with only 1 of the premium currencies in that game [where both currencies are used in the game economy], this tells you all you need to know about where this is headed. So to summarize, the overarching goal here is to make the premium currency less* obtainable by the average player, not more.

It doesn't matter. This is based on a % completion and not total stars/points/crystals etc. Everyone's contribution has greater weight. So it could benefit you if you don't have a lot of useless players on your team, or it hurts you if you have a few. It's still luck based.

What is the minimum rank for contract missions, or is there no minimum rank? I don't want to buy the event pass and not have the ability to do any contract missions

I still don't see why you would need to play more than 3. I mean, if someone is absolutely terrible at the game, then sure, but it's not like those guys would have done better under the old system. 8-9 games is ridiculous. The other 8 stars you earn from daily missions should count towards the 14 (yes, it's dumb) Eh, the player base is actually ok. Over 10,000 players finished the last challenge. That's a good amount of active players. Tbh, the challenges suck. I have probably 10 skins out of the 150 or so out there so I can't be arsed to go collect them all. It gives 100 tankoins but what am i supposed to spend them on? Outside the 2 funds this year and earlier battle passes, nothing has actually been worth spending a few hundred tk. I can't care less about it tbh. But that's just me

no one is making you play. I stopped playing for the most part and my life is fine. tanki made this change because they want more player engagement. But the change in the daily mission set really isn't much. Tanki deserves criticism for some of the terrible updates this year but this isn't it. And if you log on every day for 15 minutes to collect 3 containers, im sorry but you live a sad life. Tanki is for enjoyment, not a chore. If you dont enjoy it anymore, then just stop playing. now obviously with this new system, they could easily wake up one day and decide to bump up the numbers for each mission. But that's TBD.

Sorry, i dont see the nerf. The rewards are the same. It used to take about 2 battles to finish the daily missions. Now it takes 3 battles. Not that big of a deal. The other updates like taking paints/augments out of the battle passes and raising the price of protection modules are far worse than this. Just my opinion though.

People should stop overreacting. You can finish all these missions in 3 battles. Play assault if you want fast battles

People just need to come to terms with the idea that this is a buyer exclusive event and just move on with their lives. The main prizes are just 3 augments on turrets which you may or may not even use. Tanki isn't a charity and no amount of criticism will change that.

Last year, they offered super missions offering tankoins during New Years (2022), lunar new year (300) and iron days (300). It was win a battle a day to get it if i remember correctly. Obviously, there is never an obligation to continue something they did in the past, but I think it's still worth mentioning if we want to venture into hypotheticals, ex. "if the token of apology never happened", etc.

You would face a total loss scenario if your team were eliminated in round 1. Are we going to conveniently forget that everyone lost access to ~2600 tankoins through the advent calendar this year? I guess we'll act like that never existed but keep mentioning the token of apology for the next half year to justify high entry fees. It's a shame really; this is a neat event but it's not worthwhile for the casual player/buyer.

It's a cost/benefit ratio problem. While Thecongospider addresses the benefits side of things, tanki could also address the cost side to make the "other" drones worth having in the garage.

Fyi... citrus - thunder nanotech, 1000 boosted damage plasma - scorpion spear, crisis, armadillo, 1000 repair kits lazurite - scorpion pulsar crimson - scorpion tornado, 1000 boosted armor, 1000 mines, 1000 tankoins chests no team received - 100 gold boxes, 1000 speed boosts I also believe that they are gifting everyone the entry fee (100 tk) for the technical issues that happened throughout the event [seriously, how nice of them to do that] Special thanks to Tanki for the extra present and the event overall, along with @Ghost_Animators for assisting all the teams to get some really nice augments/presents. edit - i don't think anyone has received the awards yet and I'd imagine Tanki will make an announcement about it. They haven't laid out a timeline other than "after the event" so be patient.

Your teammates were voting randomly/incorrectly because they didn't know where to find the information on where to vote correctly (aka ghost). I see no issue with getting his channel out to spread awareness and make the event more fun for *everyone*

yeah seriously. Everyone who participated in the arcade owes you a giant "thank you". (purple and green team specifically). Everyone would have had the yellow/blue team experience, except even worse if you didn't make a tracker, spend tankoins scanning, and share the info with everyone. I still think the scanner is dumb. One scan should scan all the surrounding cells. Not just 1 at a time...............
