Alright. Time to note down current and outstanding information regarding Tanki Classic from V-LOGs V-LOG Episode 540 - Updates on Classic Test server was launched and Early Access page began to be available. Special offers began to be available once again. Below them there are project development with details. Roadmap is a tool which allows everyone to see with what developers are working on now. V-LOG Episode 542 - Roadmap Update and Premium Completed several more important milestones: 25.12.2025 Closed Testing, Juggernaut, Lobby Interface remake, Battle HUD, 16.01.2026 (That date shown in V-LOG and on that website 2025 year is a small mistake) Protection Modules Everything related to battle fields got fixed. Issues with Vulcan got resolved, brought back the Railgun shot effect, adjusted equipment balance and costs. To make them work correctly, developers need to deploy the update along with the test server wipe. You were warned about the account wipes multiple times in advance! Premium mechanic will be introduced with the updated test server. Without Premium, you won't be able to chat in-game or create battles. Access to that will be granted based on purchased special offers: All players who have purchased Bronze Special Offer "Personalized" will receive access to Classic test server with that update, but without Premium. Players who have purchased 'Silver' Special Offer "Nostalgia" will enter test server with Premium account. "Veteran" paint will be in your Garage there. For those who have purchased 'Gold' Special Offer "Old School" will get Premium, paint, and unlocked Containers on their accounts. All 200 containers can be freely opened on test server. Containers will be refreshed and added back to inventory in a closed state after each account wipe. That's how first wipe will work. Next one will contain few suprises. First of all, those aren't "powers", those are called Augments. The augment for Shaft you described is Healing Emitters. You can get this augment from containers via using keys from Legendary category (both Epic and Common Containers). The augment that keeps mines from being destroyed after tank dies is called Miner. You can also get that from containers from Legendary Category (also from Epic and Common Containers), It's for a certain turret (1 augment for one of the available hulls which doesn't have it yet). It seems that those Snowman turret modes will be another "great" tradition in Tanki, just like those "Zombies" in Halloween event and "La tomatina" thing during Summer Festival events (but that's basically same thing as those Snowman turret, just different appearance). Meh, time to get used to them for next few years... Not gonna lie, TDM Snowman mode ("Snowballs") was pretty good to get some kills and earn a lot of reputation points for the current mini-game. Those 5k reputation points contracts are really tiring. But they're way cheaper, so why bother about that 5k? Back to topic, those snowmans might be pretty helpful for someone who doesn't have a good equipment to get some points. Also, was it possible to check colour of own snowball before shooting it, except for using mouse (if that shows it)? Not gonna lie, that would be really helpful to know what kind of snowball is ready to be fired and which one is going to be next (after shooting 1st reloading 2nd one), whether it's a normal, white snowball or yellow, "Pulsar" one. Enemies and teammates can easily see snowball which is ready to fire. Unless there is way to find out about which fireball we ourselves can see without using mouse controls. Hope the critical shot for snowballs (Pulsar ones) will appear way less frequently, cause that's more annoying than fun. It's very nice to see a brand new special mode for this Festive Season - "Frostbite". Similar idea which Reviced has written like 2 years ago during Festive Season in December 2023, but there's Hornet instead of Wasp. That's more like it, matching the theme of Festive season and any winter season events here. Hope next year we'll see a Wasp/Freeze mode, guess that would be also fun. Mode is also good to reach some reputation and experience points. And once again that paid one Advent Calendar. Why there can't be another "f2p free stage" advent calendar with for example 2k or 1k crystals for like 7 days and for a supermission prize like 5-10 epic keys. Turns out that "upgraded" Calendar during Black Friday was just it's huge occasion. And now it contains same prizes like before BF with same, reused Recruit paint. Not sure if there will be added new paint or something, but what about adding there week or two of Premium? That might encourage to buy that paid one AC. Still miss old AC [*] Also really like the changes with missions for special mode, removing the "Earn X reputation points" to put in their place "Finish 2 battles in festive mode". Although for current modes it shouldn't be such a problem to reach that much RP, but still a nice change. Big W change.

Good the mass test for Tanki Classic finally appeared, so that all those who bought "Nostalgia" and "Old-school" special offers can take part in those tests. Also good that people can buy such offers again. Big W, especially that many waited with unpatience for some more news about it. I've seen few screenshots from this game and not gonna lie, interface of Lobby and game are really impressive, identical to old, but gold Flash interface. I like it. Many complain that it looks ugly, terrible etc. but like, it's not possible to recreate 1 : 1 Flash interface + fact servers are runned on different technologies. Prove me wrong. I guess it will be further improved to make it more and more similar to old interface which was before HTML5 era. Good there's so many feedback about the current state of TC by now from testers. Hope it will make a huge impact on game. And also I hope people will accept the fact that Tanki Classic will not be 1 : 1 how it used to be in old days of TO and old Tanki can't be fully replaced. Those days are gone, but at least there are memories of it (Old videos, old screenshots). And more thing - don't be suprised your account will reset and complain how "after grinding so many hours it all got removed, nooo" etc., because it was clearly said that progress will get reset, "During the test, we will restart the game several times and even temporarily pause the testing process. We will also wipe the test server database several times, which will reset all your progress." But I guess there will be still complaints about it. Anyway, wish you patience during tests.
