  1. i checked out a couple of these streamers on youtube. all three i checked were using a hack in juggernaut mode to become the jugger. two of them were joining as a group, and had several slave isidas permahealing them and doing nothing else. this was obviously not a team effort, but a pre-planned scheme. the third guy was just loaded with all kinds of pulsars and crap when he was not doing juggernaut, and he had like 500k of each supply. my impression is that these kinds of players are hated by pretty much the whole community. other players want the crap that they have, not because it makes for good game mechanics, good game experience, or even any any kind of fun. it is like a game of it's own... "get the latest crap" a common criticism in slavic countries against the west is that they are decadent. but when the site's representatives advertise and condone this kind of behavior, encouraging you to cheer for the people representing the most broken aspects of the game, i struggle to find a better description. but by all means. 2. I will not participate in this event, I only enjoy one form of bonking.
  3. We call this "magpie's disease" in my native language. No wonder preying on this weakness through loot boxes got the game banned in several countries. Pretty sad to se Hazel grinning in the youtube interview over his planned workaround to enter these markets again. Like, govs of these countries put the ban there for a reason. It is harmful.
  4. With all due respect @PirateSpider, you clearly are at the far end on a vulnerability spectrum. That is entirely ok, but you can not expect society to cater to your vulnerability. You cannot dictate an internet space to be your escape room from the real world and other people. Do you ever read the debate pages in newspapers? Maybe watch a debate from the British House of Commons on youtube? Public debate is harsh - as it should be. If you need reasons for why it should be so, read some early Greek political texts about the space of the agora. Your quoted text does not come close to any of it. It is a dry and in fact rather bland trope describing the fact at hand - as the speaker sees it. There is no ad hominem or spite, not even sarcasm. As for your poem:
  5. I see no edit in the post you are linking. What I see is exactly the post I was referring to; pure, snotty condescension. In that thread, @MEXICAN-SKY responded to the post in question "I seriously do not know how i should actually take this. Neither do you, obviously. No, it was not, not at all. LambSauce quoted him verbatim, and added that he acted like he was the only adult in the room. Not much more than that. And very on point. To set the bar for moderation this low is bizarre, it is like you are policing a safe space at an american high school where the most fragile determine what is an aggression. All adults that are willing to take part in public debate would be totally fine with what was said. Removing it is simple Stalin tactics. When a lead developer does an interview it is highly warranted to discuss not just his content, but also his demeanor. There is all kinds of objections worded by the players on the game in this forum. When there is than a face off two sides, players will scrutinize for attitude and interaction dynamics. The fact that developers and other staff are so active in this (player) forum is an exception from other games. They are, from a conversational point of view, here at the player's mercy. But then they hold the technical power to edit and doctor the conversation. The dynamic between Opex and Taspen is very weird, at times right out uncomfortable to watch. This same dynamic carries over into the forum where a sort of eerie atmosphere reigns. This whole "You cannon speak about things that we have decided that you cannot affect. What this is will be semi-veiled to you. etc " It's all very god-like. ????? You are Comical Ali at this point.
  6. Sorry, as you can see in my edit i thought you were Taspen. I should have realized a sponsored youtuber would never enjoy freedom of speech such as your now deleted post conveyed. I know you did. The toxic climate on this forum has made me reluctant to enter the conversation. Russian culture certainly is something different. Also there is the fact that employees can be as toxic as they want, such as when Opex posted that GTP-generated answer a couple weeks ago. I have never seen such condescension. And then he makes sure to delete a slightly unfavorable light shone on him in the form of his own words... Just wow. Anyway I really just entered the forum to post this "hack" that I found to have an enjoyable game experience. I think I will crawl back under my rock now.
  7. EDIT: @LambSauce posted a reply here in a hour ago that I can no longer see. What the story behind this is one can only wonder, but his comment was directly critical of Hazel both as a person and with regards to many of his decisions. I will post my reply to him anyway. ( @LambSauce) You should have given him more pushback. I got the impression that you were not at all impressed by many of his suggestions, especially all the various grenades he wants to make. I understand, however, that doing this is not easy when as you say he comes off as authoritarian and condescending. I am glad to hear you voicing these concerns even if post hoc. It seems to me that hardly anybody wants all these grenades in the game at all. A poll should be held to determine the community's interest. Complexity is already a problem, but also the extreme pace in many high rank games. For me, I find that the game is enjoyable primarily from lieutenant (192k xp) through to major general (692k xp). The best experience I would say is even matches where both teams are geared around MK5-6. Here there is a balance between painfully slow and stressfully fast turrets and hulls. Few people have the joke augments that make everything a pain. I have two legend accounts with 9k+ gs, one with maxed crisis etc. I don't really play them, even if I preform well and have about a 1.5 k/d in regular games with most turrets. I instead started a few accounts and speedran them with the free three day premium to where I find the game to be enjoyable. With with regular play you easily "max out" a garage through MK levels 3-6 with a few of your fav turrets/ hulls and a drone of choice. A couple of my new accounts are now at major general rank and games have become mostly against 9k gs players. The idea of spending hundreds and hundreds of hours as an underdog free player in these extremely stressful games, grinding to get op augments, armadillo and all that, this is a joke to me. I don't enjoy these games with top gear, and certainly not without it either. So I consider these accounts to be 'used up'. Maybe I'll start a couple more at an opportune moment.
