Well I have not worked out how much it will cost, no point I'm not doing it, but from the few posts I have read it's no surprise it will cost a "FORTUNE" to complete. I wonder how many players on here will attempt it, only to complain about it when it doesn't go their way, which is almost a given. Lets see how many have learned their lesson from past events.

I don't. Most players now surely have to know that any and all events are cash grab scams and I have stated on numerous occasions not to participate for this sole reason. All of the above, because hazel knows that most players are hooked and therefore easy pickings for the scam. They are now conditioned to actively play the game, which means more chance they might spend cash. The nerf is a given. I seem to remember when you said (back in the day) that equipping incendiary band and heat immunity together on vulcan was a glitch/unforeseen error, was it really, or was it more than likely that you deliberately left it this way to rake in the cash. How about you set the example to the TO community and start being honest and forthright when it concerns the game, would be a nice change. Also while your at it get rid of night mode, floating "hack" trashcans and augments, reduce shop prices and bump up the rewards from the woeful nerfed containers. There are loads more but this will do for now. Think you can manage this in the next seven days? And no this is not a wind up. IMO He done nothing wrong. He was giving a few players the heads-up on how to make it easier to complete the event, no big deal. There isn't. Thankfully they have no control over personal discord or you tube channels. Within game parameters I find that impossible for anyone to achieve. You call it scam when it's not going your way. Have we learned our lesson, or will you continue doing these events, even though you called it a scam. I no some seasoned players who started out more than 10 years ago who have left because of how expensive the game has become. Your prediction will not happen because of the lack of will power needed to actually leave a game they have now been conditioned to play. I may think hazel is a nefarious cash grab exploiter, but he's smart enough to know how players think and react to changes in the game. To clarify. If you lot insist on taking part in events like this then It's down to you as an individual player to accept however it turns out., Basically you have NO choice in the matter. Hazel sets the rules/parameters of each event, that should be enough to dissuade anyone from participating, regardless what OP cash grab augment is on offer. On a personal level I think TO is still a great game, but it got lost and complicated, which is why I only play on occasion basically to peeve as many trash cans off as I can, that's my incentive, what's yours.

I have said before that playing at Legend rank is no big deal. Try playing on a low rank account with no protections, very little crystals and see how far you get. all as a F2P. TO does not do low rankers any favours, quite the opposite in fact. Also as a low ranker any "nerfed" container you earn gives you all the crap like mk1 tripe and useless paints. Paints should be left out of containers and put into the shop, that way they can stay away from my account and rot in the shop. Couldn't have described it better myself. Therein lies the scam.

Then it is not free. 1 Tankoin is nothing, but earning 30-90 stars demands a whole lot of game time, this in itself means tonnes of supplies used and for low rankers gaining way to much XP for a scant amount of crystals. If It's not easy to do then the event should reflect the effort put into producing it, ie a worthwhile event the majority of players actually want to participate in that does not have detrimental consequences for your account, ie low rankers getting pounded just to rank up and get pounded even more at the next rank. Also the rewards are pathetic compared to the huge amount of XP you get after every battle, usually by a factor of two if not more, which is extremely bad for low rankers. You catching on why events are not really worth taking part in unless there is a very good incentive to do. Why not! Players have been misled, lied to, and had a once decent game turned into a clownish, OP, cash only (to participate on a equal footing) pile of useless, glitching, lagging, garage "STILL DOES NOT WORK" comedy of errors. Agree. I will get back to you on that. So have you eventually learned your lesson about events? Nothing is free in this game. They give with one hand and take way more with the other 7. Totally agree, which is why I made NO EFFORT whatsoever to earn stars, mind you I only purchased 1 tk on one account that had a couple thousand spare tk and then realised that if I did go all out and my team got stuffed all that effort was for nothing, so I gave it a hard pass. I almost fell into line with the other sheep but came to my senses and avoided the scam trap set by hazel. Still 1 tk, that's gonna take awhile to get over knowing I gave TO something, bummer. It's not free.

Seeing players post about anything does not mean the devs take action, event or otherwise. The complaints are well founded, because the game as a whole (events to one side) has hit rock bottom, though I'm sure hazel can dig the hole way deeper, he's very good at doing that. They know exactly what works, which is why things will never change. The status quo is here to stay. Cash rules ok. I do when I don't log in ?

You are missing a valuable point! Let me explain. 1 tk is nothing, but playing in battles for low rankers that have very few or no protections at all is not preferred. MM puts you up against players that have protections, so getting constantly wiped out just to participate in a somewhat average event is a non starter for me and it encourages you to play a lot, which is very bad, because you rank way to quickly and get wiped out even quicker at the next rank. How about sorting the game out and correcting the mistakes that have turned it into a cartoonish joke, rather than wasting your efforts on an event that does nothing but accelerate you even quicker than normal to the next rank, which is not good for the lower ranks. Read the above and try and look at it from a F2P low rankers perspective. The event is not the problem per say, It's acquiring to much XP for very low crystal reward and all the other disadvantages low rankers have. Not ungrateful, just smarter than your average bot. No It does not. Nope, It doesn't. I gave you an "agree," but still for low rankers this encourages you to play more, bad idea.

As for me, it used to be enjoyable back in the day when clans had some meaning and you went up against others without the OP gimmicks we have now. Shock freeze was the go to for me, now It's pathetic and not worth bothering with because It's that lame. Because of greed there is no chance of those days ever returning, which had there faults but were way better than what we have now. No prots available until General. Trash cans. Augments. No unique turret. Every turret now has a copy/paste of all the other turrets, pathetic. Bots. What a waste of space they are. Price hikes in the joke shop. Upgrades take millions of crystals and you can never earn enough before the next rank. I mean never. Having to upgrade a drone just to have a chance at being effective with whatever turret you have equipped. Getting put into the same map, usually with jug or tdm, because choosing your own battle takes a huge amount of time to get into. Nerfed containers full of useless fillers that no one wants. Etc, etc, etc. The only sure constant about this game is that it will just keep getting worse as time goes on. I have yet to be proven wrong.

The entire concept of "THIS" game is based entirely on cash grab ethics. TO is inherently unfair to try and force players to spend cash. I no longer play this game on a account I have had for years, this is because of all the pathetic cash grab mechanics that have ruined the enjoyment. Augments and trash cans are the main two, followed closely by not being able to acquire any protections until General rank on any lower accounts I have. Try looking at TO from Recruit to Legend and all the contrived pitfalls you have to overcome as a F2P. Competing in anything is "EASY" making an impact on this game in battle as a F2P is damned hard and unless you don't mind being cannon fodder, then yeah, you compete sport, knock yourself out. I am quoting F2P from Recruit to Legend and how difficult it is to compete with full on buyers and the way the game is set out to disadvantage all players (brainwashed buyers excluded) right from the very start. Not being able to acquire protections from the start is THE main disadvantage to lower ranked players, especially because the MM system still does not work as intended, even with the pathetic, lame bots added. Whoa there slim. Your first 7 words are not really well thought out or they. For starters there is no turret or hull in the game that is "IMMORAL". Now if you were complaining about the JOKE shop, then I would have agreed with you. The word/s I would have used would have been unfair, pathetic, should not be in the game, etc, etc. Now if you mention say paladin and the other flying monkeys, or augments, or bots then I would say they are all of the above and unlike Magnum, paladin does not exist in real life, just like flying tanks don't.
