I'm totally for this (even its an old idea), mainly because I never have no acces to server, and likely never be invited. both weapons are good in the same maps... But if you play in more covered maps with lots of buildings you should go for ricochet because due to the bouncing shots. Though, Thunder could achieve that too with splash damage

You should blame the inventor of INTERNET for that, as for that visible friends list, its good... really good. I always have to let the whole lobby notice: ''are you there? *name* when I'm searching for just one player. a player list would be great, the high rankers should be on top of the list... the lowest ranks at the bottom to make you finding the player easier. But just showing friends is a bit useless... why not highlight them and show the whole lobby population aswell? Owh wait you're talking about the forums?

It looses power from range. Losing 5 damage every 5 metres past 35 metres. So the walls boost it but at the same time it loses power. Damage-Distance+Walls. So will it lose or gain damage after fired at the time of hit?
