Shaft users, Would you mind to spend 1-2 minutes on this poll? It's a little research that I need to make a video review on the mouse controls for Shaft.

So far the results of first 2 questions of the poll don't suprise me; I knew a lot of people use the standard controls for Shaft. Little bit surpised on the results of the last question though. Not just stealthier, it's more stable too. You can definitely feel that when playing with high-recoil turrets.

Vulcans can be dealt with pretty easy though. They run out of patience when you keep doing peek-a-boo. :ph34r: So they'll be firing constantly until the burning effect kicks in. Barrel stops > you shoot > hide before barrel spools up again > lol Unless there are Isida's backing up the Vulcan... then you lose. You will not survive Isida's in general either. Eyoo, I'm planning to make a video review on Shaft using mouse controls, and I asked some people trough the forum PM if they have good functioning mouse controls. Not everyone seems to have working mouse controls, and because of that, the majority of you use the standard arrow keys. Because I didn't find the forum PM approach accurate enough, I decided to make a poll that consists of a few questions regarding the mouse controls as Shaft; Hence this topic. I'm kindly asking you to fill in the poll as detailed as possible. Therefor you need to try mouse controls as Shaft before doing so. For the most accurate result, please try them out on different browsers and especially the Standalone Flash Player. ATTENTION: question 1 is there to indicate the popularity of mouse controls as Shaft. If you tried them out just for this poll, and you are not going to use them in battles in the future, choose no. Well, it was a really nice map to farm crystal boxes back in the day. :P I've done that a lot as newb. Later they introduced rank limits to the maps and removed crystal boxes. And I believe Berlin was one that had a rank limit of General. I think it definitely contributed to the fact that it's now rarely played, even though they changed it to sergeant major again. It has to do with the biased choice of the community aswell, most of them prefer maps like Silence, Kungur and Serpuhov because they'll make you earn more crystals. I personally love Berlin although I think CTF is the best gamemode there. It's a large open map perfect for Shaft and Railgun. The big wall in the center makes you feel you're really defending a base. I also use Wasp and Smoky for guarilla tactics. Light hulls are common there since it's a big map with big travel distances... food for Shafts lel.

If fitted it on Mammoth M3 today that I got at the sales. Lol... totally overpowered in the medium sized (open) maps when you camp.

I had a glitch in the standalone that silenced the engine noise of my tank completely. Turret sounds and everything else were hearable. It happens when you set the game sound close to 0 and crank op your system sound to get a normal volume. The game sound will be pretty weird though, you can hear turrets right near you when they're far away. Twins's sound will become even more annoying. Tried to get it again but no succes. The glitch only needs to happen once though, I were able to swap equipment without the glitch disappearing. I use a Roland duo-capture audio interface to boost volume levels, I don't know if this can be done with a standard sound card.

Ahh the country legend. The man you would instantly recognize from his silhouet... Instantly. This guy had an impressive lifestyle, and an awesome car collection :D I really wish I was born in the 50’s to see him and many other legends at their prime. Mr.Cash was actually a pretty poor guitarist, but that didn't matter. It was all about that voice... Man that voice.

I'm seeing these things for half a year. The hack is not easy to spot, you need to watch them closely for a longer period of time. They started to appear just after the turret-hitbox update. I remember how easy it was with Shaft to flip players when you shot their turret. I occasionally ran into these hackers who turned back on their tracks out of nowhere, exactly the kind of way shown in your video. That self-rightening isn't lag caused by the game server. At one time I tried to flip a hacker who was in the same team in some random parkour battle. Well, after 20+ shots with instant self-rightening, I didn't saw it as ordinary lag anymore. I have no idea if the game is aware of this, but I'm thankfull that you've posted the video here; that's clear evidence. I always thought I were the only one seeing these hacks. From my view, I never hear the mods about it.

Ahh can't wait to play TankiX, really love the graphics. Shaft looks awesome, juuuust a bit thinner and longer; much more agressive. Titan actually looks like a tank now; instead of a boat. It looks great! Ohh, will there be mouse controls in TankiX?

You need to deal as much damage as possible with Twins. That thing is best in the open field. And it's always nice to have that bit of extra speed when you're using a relatively short range weapon as Twins. But that's totally my opinion as you asked. :D I would use Mammoth more for defense in CTF's, with Freeze or something. == I hope they re-design Titan in TankiX. It's the most ugliest boat in the game.

It's depends a bit on the turret usage too. I for instance prefer the more front-placed turret on Mammoth for minimal exposure behind walls. Titan's more centered turret position is nice in the open, for stable firing in all directions.

Man, dat zal best pittig zijn, maar met de motivatie haal je het zeker. respect voor je keuze. Lijkt me een vet beroep overigens, kan je na je studie ook een eigen prakijk beginnen? Hoezo?! ik functioneer niet anders dan normaal :P Klopt, maar een beetje minder bier en wat vaker de fiets en het valt het allemaal wel mee. :D

He would've had to buy a new one anyway, key-ghosting is hardware related. Especially on cheap keyboards, since it's a cheap way of manufacturing :O
