UPDATE: This isn't my best but my most amount of kills i've ever gotton in a match. (no pic srry :D) 158 kills 32 death Reward: 230 + 1, 50 crystal box :D . . . . total: around 300 crystals (including picked up crystals)

m3 rail + m1 viking +3k paint I don't have enough for the 3k paint yet. But by the time 2,0 comes out, i think i'll have enough. My wealth is somewhere around 7k crystals.

yea so if ya get more than 270 crystals...u will get crystal DB. And I think its sometimes random, but if you get higher crystal fund reward, you automatically get Crystals from DB.
