This is great. I was against it ever since it came out. It was a good extra income for tanki at first when people had a lot of crystals and wanted to rank after it to get the specific items in their garage. But it was also not very fair for those of us who have played for years earning the experience ourselves when someone else with extra crystals or cash could catch up to us in a matter of seconds. Nevertheless, what's done is done and I am happy that this feature is being removed.

A lot has changed during the last 2 years but all for the good. Proud to be in this legendary clan.

Great sale... Bought m0-m2 without sale right after rebalance and bought m3 during sale. Nice sale anyways but don't want to see too many firebirds out there since they're a pain.

This is great. I was saving up for m3 on feb 23 but short 3,000 to m3 this time so I guess I will buy m1+m2 then get m3 later. Thanks a bunch. ;)

Joined tanki with my older account in mid-early 2010 and on this one in July 2010. Joined forum much later because I wasn't really all that into forums and didn't play on a regular basis to get involved in forums.

I take that back. The speed is fantastic. No lags no disconnects so far, quick loading. I must say Tanki, the best thing you have done in a long while. I'm really impressed. Well done!

I haven't been playing Tanki much past few months and been playing another game. I have made quite a few friends there and wanted to invite them here. I gave them my invite link and then they get the green start button page. After they click start, the invitation number disappears and when they registered, they didn't show up on my invites. Most of them are buyers from that game and I'm sure if they would like this game, they would buy here as well and I wouldn't mind making some extra crystals. Anyways, I think it has to do with them being a new user and not appearing on Tanki homepage but instead the green start button page. It's pretty frustrating giving them the link and inviting them but not getting anything for it. :wacko: I guess they would have to click the homepage link at the bottom for the invite to be counted but it's confusing enough starting a new game without having to figure out how to do it... Anyone else noticed the same problem or what? :rolleyes:

Listen, I think hunter is really great. Get it up to m3 is you still haven't. It's one of the best balanced tanks out there. Also, they cannot or will not refund you back for that as it was your choice and you should have made a more informed choice before buying.

I think the 3 paints that are a great combination are Emerald = 26% twins, 42% thunder, 10% Rail - Inferno = Firebird 30%, Freeze 40%, twins 12% - and Needle = Ricochet 20%, Smoky 48%, Shaft 20%. Those 3 paints have every protection from all weapons except isida and the cost for them are emerald 14,350 - Inferno 15,900 - and Needle 21,000. Total is 51,250. Seems like a lot but that's what we'll have to deal with this new rebalance. :)

Thank you I got 298,488 total crystals back but I only bought hunter and firebird m2. I have talked to some of my Russian friends and they will wait until sale as well. It's just 2 weeks away and they should have a sale. If not 25% maybe 15% if not that, than maybe on just 1 weapon or tank or just tanks or weapons or paints. Anyways I think the 2 week wait is worth it even if no sale at all. The prices without the sale are outrageous! Firebird and hunter m2 are pretty strong in the battlefield and I still manage to get over 1.0 D/L. This rebalance looks fantastic, thank you for your hard work.

Lieutenant, yes, of course I know they're just testing everything. But I mean about the new ranks. Oh and I heard that the prices in test will be 10x as much in real tanki. It would make sense for the most part since every weapon and tank is being tested and rebalanced and they won't have the same power after rebalance. For example firebird is the most expensive weapon now but it has an ability to kill someone once you shoot them with firebird and then still keep on doing damage regardless whether you/re still alive or not and can kill them a few seconds after you died even. :blink: And I know they're just testing the ranks probably as well but in real tanki if the new ranks ever come out, they should definitely have the later ranks spread out more. :)

It would look ridiculous in my opinion... Tanks as zombies, really? :blink: Also the thing behind tanki is real players only. So... they would have to get rid of that saying if this were to happen. :D

As everyone have long-ago heard that there would be new ranks in 2.0. Since "2.0" itself isn't really happening, we are still getting the updates we were promised for 2.0. Test server was opened and I decided to check it out for a while. As I observed, they are finally testing the new ranks as well. Now I'm not sure if the developers were releasing a set date for the new ranks to come out, and I don't expect them to come any time soon. In any case, I saw that the new ranks were pretty close to each other. And the highest rank "Generalissimo" is 1,400,000. Again, I am not sure if they would keep these numbers or just for testing purposes, but these numbers seem to be very low for the people who have played the game for a longer time. In my opinion, these new ranks should be elite ranks of some sort that don't really follow the pattern of the old ones. I believe they should be spread out more and the last rank should have a big gap in between since it's the final rank and should be something everyone looks forward to. Which is why I think it should be anywhere from 2,500,000 to 3,000,000 or at the least 2,000,000. These numbers seem to be so high for some but there are many players who have been playing for a while and have all weapons and hulls to M3 and most paints and long surpassed the rank of Marshal. There should be something they look forward to or else they will lose interest in playing like myself. I have got nearly 2,300,000 points over past couple of years and I would love if there was a rank that people could look forward to achieve. In reality, most marshals already have more than 1,400,000 points and there would be almost the same amount of Generalissimos as there are Marshals now. Other players I've heard of and seen who have over 3,000,000 and close to 4,000,000 and in the whole tanki there might be a person or two who are close to 5,000,000 or beyond. Anyone else agree? Share your ideas about it. I am not sure if the ranks will come anytime soon or if they are thinking about them, just my idea when I went on the test server.**
