As in Star Trek? ;D Well in those series it has only proven to be used in bad ways. I don't think it will be good for society. Less privacy etc. I'm quite impressed that there is actually being worked on.

I have to agree that the 'old' tanki, I'm referring to pre-rebalance, was considered 'better'. Though in many people's eyes it has worsened and is still worsening, I think the game is 'climbing its way back'.

A game needs to evolve in order to maintain its position towards other games. In my honest opinion, I like the idea of tanki being like farmville (as the OP calls it).

Yes! It seems quite weird to me that we are about to colonize Mars before the moon! O.ODespite that, I'm a great fan of the idea, it'll be just like Star Trek. ;D If I would want to be one of the colonists? Not yet, there's still much to learn and to be discovered.

Over de 'spamkwestie', deze thread loopt veel te ver achter. Het kost teveel betekenisloze berichten om de Iraanse thread in te halen, ik doe er dus niet aan mee.

Die twee uur extra is denk ik een beetje te vergelijken met de Nederlandse wiskunde D in dat opzicht. Als je wiskunde begrijpt is het inderdaad best leuk! :) Natuurlijk ken ik je nog!

First of all, the page is NOT in Dutch. It's probably your browser's auto-translater that translated the English site into your foreign, assumingly Dutch, language. Secondly, ShOwStOpPeR_online is right, the give-ways have stopped. Though unfortunate, I would recommend you taking a look at the new site anyways. Omdat het anders een te grote post wordt hierboven, nu hier de rest van het verhaal: Dat ging buiten mijn verwachtingen om, best opmerkelijk! ^^ Ze zijn niet meer op te rapen! Dat was mijn voornaamste inkomstenbron! :D Ik ben het spelen rustig aan aan het oppakken, samen met een paar vrienden uit de buurt, verder wil ik even toezien hoe het forum zich tegenwoordig gedraagt, voordat ik zeker wil zeggen 'dat ik blijf' :P. Aan deze Nederlandse pagina is in ieder geval niks mis. ;)

Ik moet eerlijk bekennen dat een deel van mijn visie ook daarop ging lijken, alhoewel dit meer uit jaloezie was. Het ene deel van mijn toenmalige vrienden en kennissen van Tanki werd onderdeel van de staf, het andere deel verliet het spel. Nadat ik zelf enkele kleine en onbelangrijke 'functies' heb gehad, zonder een interessanter vervolg, ben ik er ook mee gestopt, wellicht tot mijn spijt, maar een beetje rust in de tent kon ook geen kwaad. Het is inderdaad verontwaardigend hoe veel pogingen tot discussie wordt afgekapt door 'wanna-be' moderators, zo erg was dat 'vroeger' niet. :P In Nederland maken ze onderscheid tussen verschillende soorten wiskunde, op het VWO zijn het er 4, waarvan men er 1 dient te volgen en ook examen in te doen. Opmerkelijk dat men in België meerdere wiskunde's heeft. Wiskunde C - Vereenvoudigde versie van Wiskunde A Wiskunde A - Veelal te beschrijven als 'kansrekening en statistiek' Wiskunde B - Veelal te beschrijven als 'analyse en logica' Wiskunde D - Combinatie van zowel Wiskunde A als Wiskunde B, te kiezen als verdiepend vak (waarbij dus ook nog een Wiskunde A, B, C zit)

You should also take into account that there is an option to pause the game, up to a total of 5 minutes. Since this is implemented in the game, you must assume that being "AFK" (Away From Keyboard), which is the common term for the mentioned 'problem', is allowed up to a certain height, or duration rather. I too hate it when people AFK, but reporting them for a ban seems a bit too much, what if they just went for the toilet! After all it remains a game, you can partially deal with the problem by leaving the battle with the AFK-person and joining/ creating another one. ~datie9

Toen de game de grote verandering onderging waardoor ik geen M3 wapens meer kon kopen op mijn rang en zonder mijn XP te boosten en no-life te spelen dit ook nooit zou kunnen, ben ik gestopt en ben ik samen met leden van de oudere clans andere games gaan spelen, het forum was toendertijd ook een zooitje en helpende spelers werden niet echt gewaardeerd, reden genoeg om een tussenstop te houden. Het forum heb ik echter nooit compleet verlaten. Het ziet er nu veel beter geregeld uit, hopelijk is er weer plaats voor interessante discussies! Ik heb sinds een aantal weken mijn examens afgerond en moet dus iets hebben om de tijd de doden, het tankiforum is een manier. ;) ~datie9

I bet everyone does. I don't mind losing, but I do mind losing in a frustrating way, some ways will make me rage. :P My last 'rage' was while playing on the island map, I was using my freeze (my 'best weapon'), along with my two teammates and vs-ing a team with 3 twins-players. We were winning quite hard, untill the point all 3 enemies changed their paints to a freeze-protective one! Believe me, that's a frustrating way to lose. ~datie9
