Greetings, It's a good thing that you want to have a competition to make out who's "the king of the off-topic discussion", however, there are a few things that seem pretty unclear to me and probably to every one else too: - You want to select a 'winner' based upon the amount of views on their newly created topic, why is that? I suggest something like "Who can create a topic that is most off from TO?". (More on that later) - The "Reward" you want to give is something you can't give. - Your English is so bad that every above post is about it. - There is an ingame rank restriction on something that is only about the forum. - Your application form makes no sense at all. Although your post is terrible, I like the idea and want to help you (this 'competition' rather), I suggest re-listing the 'rules' (the goal), to something that does have to do something with "off-topic" (such as the above said 'most off-tanki topic'), otherwise you could better name this 'competition' "forum king", simplifying the 'application form' and adjusting your 'reward' to an enlistment in your first post, which is something you CAN give. ~datie9

As for what I know the Dutch have accomplished, invented and discovered quite a lot these last centuries. Simply posting a list of all those would be too long! :P I'd like to go over a few which I consider important. #1 Van Leeuwenhoek microscope (basically just the microscope :O) Van Leeuwenhoek created at least 25 microscopes, of differing types, of which only nine survive. His simple microscopes were made of silver or copper frames, holding hand-ground lenses. Those that have survived are capable of magnification up to 275 times. It is suspected that Van Leeuwenhoek possessed units that could magnify up to 500 times. Using his handcrafted microscopes, he was the first to observe and describe single-celled organisms, which he originally referred to as animalcules, and which now referred to as micro-organisms or microbes. #2 Stroopwafel (a very tasty cookie!) A stroopwafel (also known as syrup waffle, treacle waffle or caramel waffle) is a waffle made from two thin layers of baked batter with a caramel-like syrup filling the middle. They were first made in Gouda in the 1780s. The traditional way to eat the stroopwafel is to place it atop of a drinking vessel with a hot beverage (coffee, tea or chocolate) inside that fits the diameter of the waffle. The heat from the rising steam warms the waffle and slightly softens the inside and makes the waffle soft on one side while still crispy on the other. #3 Wi-Fi (who doesn't use it?!) In 1991, NCR Corporation/AT&T Corporation invented the precursor to 802.11 in Nieuwegein. Dutch electrical engineer Vic Hayes chaired IEEE 802.11 committee for 10 years, which was set up in 1990 to establish a wireless networking standard. He has been called the father of Wi-Fi (the brand name for products using IEEE 802.11 standards) for his work on IEEE 802.11 (802.11a & 802.11b) standard in 1997. To be very honest with you, most old legends were in one of three 'best'-English clans about 3-5 years ago. I remember the time when there were only 8 clans playing in player-created tournaments! The Ironclads Lhamster, hogree, BLASTOISE-T12, rocket101, WhiteKnight170, ShadowVisions, Beerme, chriswu, skitee, Seemefly, Ranger7, matlep, Reiki12345, Oskarl. Shadow Strikers AdvocatusDiaboli ("koolwalky"), PhantomMeat, White_Owl, Beast8008, hotwheel, Beerme (again... BEERME?!), AnuBoi, Oskarl (again... :P), cablaz, joja93, D7D7, husto. Dare Devils Phituankiet, Afghani, whitemark7, ghy1, Alkline, wertweuri, EddyBeGood. p.s.: The persons listed above were listed on the clans' old page, therefore it might be that I forget someone. I'm only referring to persons still in my memory in this post. As a Dutch person myself, I've met a lot of good and involved Dutch people aswell. If memory serves correctly, the Dutch were mostly divided into two clans, one of which was led by me, coincidentally.
