Forum moderators do what they need to do, following the rules. Necroposting is not allowed, this is in the rules thread also. I fully understand your frustration and in my opinion a warning instead of a ban would be okay aswell. Although its not up to me to decide what a moderator should do or not should do, that is against the tules aswell.

Developpers will not read it here, nor will they read it on the feedback page. I am inspired by AdvocatisDiabolis post on the page about mods discussions, so instead of posting a link to the feedback page, I will give my opinion :) I do like both sounds, I actually don't need that option.

As FBI said, it's used to view enemies above you, there isn't a real strategy for it.. but it is useful for spotting enemies you would normally not see.

Can you tell me in what way the content is related to the thread title? It says how to win from them, but you are pointing out why they are noobs..
