Hello folks! I have been holding thoughts and observations in reserve and attempting to keep calm and my head out of drama, but it seems to me the CyberSport team, or atleast its current "DJs", seem to CRAVE drama. So, cybersport team, let me indulge you. First and foremost, lets trace back to those moments where the whole community found out BarKode was rigging cybersport events. This was big news, something that appaled the public and angered many. It was quite the eye opener and thus brought about change. Unfortunately, two DJs (namely Paul and GV) were criticized and ridiculed by fellow Djs for two reasons. These DJs wished to keep this happening silent believing that the public ought to NOT know of what BK did despite ruining events for many players and hoarding massive amounts of crystals to his own clan. Why you may ask? We can only speculate as to why but, personally, my money is on either or both of these reasons: - To work with BK in letting him get away with what he did. - For power. At the time, ShadowVisions and Arya777 were to be next in line for head of cybersport, but those two found a reason and a scapegoat in order to gain power themselves. With this, Paul and GV were able to get SV and Arya FIRED because they told the public about the dirty secret behind the scenes. This was also coupled with the reason that because SV was not able to work because he was in CRITICAL CONDITION IN THE HOSPITAL and was not able to work at the time. Second, lets turn our attention to a newer and younger DJ, Vilmos. Vilmos was a regular viewer of the CyberSport events, showed a bit of immaturity here and there in the chat, but nothing too major. He was another addition to the regular audience. When he applied to become a DJ, we welcomed him with open arms. After DJs arya, SV, and myself left the cybersport team. He and as well as paul and GV has constantly been spamming and insulting both myself and ex-members of the cybersport team with this: "[removed as requested by Bruce] you [removed as requested by Bruce] you betrayed Cybersport the trust we gave you. [removed as requested by Bruce]. And GV will and I mean will always be a better DJ than you will ever be." Way to go cybersport, way to show real maturity and being role models for us all! Also, Montano, an ex-candidate who left after realizing the UGLY truth of the cybersport team is often greeted by that as well as: "Hey you the one that betrayed CS!" "Yeah [removed as requested by Bruce] you!" Again, another fine example of those who work for the game were children of all ages come to play. Im sure this is what makes tanki shine, right? Dear Cybersport, me and other members were willing to leave the team peacefully, but what you have done is disrespectful, dishonorable, and despicable. If you guys want to work for tanki to milk out as much crystals as you can, the least you could do is treat others with respect. Expect a complaint to go into the moderators themselves.

The 550 ti should more than handle spitting out 60 fps on max quality for tanki online. And do note people, internet connection has practically no impact on fps rates (connection errors may cause otherʻs tankʻs movement a little choppy, but again, internet connection has no effect on fps rates). I can only think of a couple reasons as to why you would be experiencing excruciatingly low fps rates. First, being the actual program you are running tanki on. IE and Chrome havnt been working with tanki very well so Iʻd suggest using FF or the flash stand alone player. Either that or perhaps you dont have the physical memory to match your GPU. I doubt you would have this issue unless you have a custom built machine and you for some reason decided to invest 150ish bucks in the gpu (thats a complete guess as to the cost of the 550 ti) but only several in the RAM. Tanki, with that GPU should still run fine with 1.5 Gb of mem, so I doubt that is your problem. One thing to make sure is that your video output is coming from your GPU and NOT your motherboard. If you cant tell the difference, gimme pictures.

Although it is no longer easier as it used to be, people would just simply create an automated program to create new accounts and send over the initial 10 crystals all new accounts get to their main account. And as mentioned before, hacked accounts would have their crystals transfered over to the hackerʻs. But while we are on this topic, there should be a more universal and user-friendly way of buying crystals for friends.

OMG +1 this article. So many people have fallen victim to hackers/filchers. Tanki is unfortunately plagued with them :(

It is really too bad that now ranks can simply be bought now :c it removes the prestige of the rank. Even though I myself am guilty of buying my rank, I still wish that feature wasnt there.

As everyone well knows, tanki has been suffering serious lag issues. It has literally made the game UNPLAYABLE for some players like me. Spending more time at the loading screen than actually playing is something that only mmoʻs from 70ʻs ever experienced (40 year old technology equivalent to todays? ouch!). So why doesnʻt tanki outsource foreign server hosting or something like that? It seems that the only people not having lag is russians and also having english dedicated server would take out two birds with one stone so why not?

spark is more well rounded, but zeus is great just particularly with rico (as you well know) so it all depends. I love my spark... esp since I dont go one on one with ricos all too much.

Dictator is weak :/ but a great tank nonetheless until you get to the rank of about WO4. Viking m0 is roughly the equivalent of m2 tator and the m2 vik is superior than the m3 tator. m3 viking of course is overwhelmingly stronger than the tator. Although it might be more expensive, it is well worth the investment.

You have way too many m0/m1 weapon in your garage. Focus on one of them (by obviously choosing your favorite, dont let ppl tell what YOU like, just pick a weapon you enjoy the most). Get the according hull you wish to pair up with it and I would suggest upgrading in an order like this: m0 wep --> m2 wep m0 tank --> m2 tank m2 wep -> m3 wep m3 tank -> m3 tank (this is generally the method that most pros use, some only go up to m1 tank and then m3 wep, but I really dont see the point of that since m0 and m1 things are basically no different in terms of stats, so might as well go m2 or not upgrade at all until after getting that m3 weapon).

Like I said before, thunder is a great combo with it. As for shaft, it is kinda a tossup according to the map you are playing and your skill with the shaft. If you like sitting in the wide open and raining down shot after shot, the mammy would be good. But those who want greater mobility and the expense of hp, go for viking (maybe even hornet to get into some interesting places?). Do note that some of the times when shaft dies, no matter what tank it was in, it was gonna die anyways. Iʻm too sick right now to want to write the 2nd part about why viking is generally better than any other hull :P Just trust me on it (cause thats why most people are using that hull)

according to some people, there is going to be a change to the inferno protection so that instead of 20% rail, its gonna be 20% rico... that might change your mind if that does happen.

No one in their right mind would use it, the rico requires you to get up close and personal. Also, viking offers just enough speed to go fast than any other tank while moving backwards while the other tank tries to approach you while you are shooting at them (perfect against freezes). Ask anyone over the rank of 3rd lieutenant and they would agree with me.

Really depends on your play style. Most people would vouch for the railgun, but personally smokey was my favorite for me for a very long time. m3 is still pretty darn strong despite what most people think and attribute to because it is only the first available gun :P

It really depends on what type of enemies you go up against. There are more ricos out there (or atleast in the games I play) so I would suggest spark.

Viking, it is great with both rico and mammy. The mammy sucks with rico. Not to mention most clans would rather have members with viking than those with mammys.
