hunter is cheap and fast, dont bother with the titan its a waste of money. Just get your hunter to m2 or so then wait for the m0 dictator. it has the speed of a wasp and the armor of a titan... its great for lower levels

Yah you cannot create a clan if you are lower then a major, atleast an official one. But you can always start your own topic and mark your clan as unofficial. As far as unofficial clans go, you mkae your own rules :) And yes, there is no stopping you from starting a unofficial clan and then evolving it into an official one (although that would require making a brand new forum topic) Good luck and good tanking! First part is achieve 3ird lieutenant rank, just playing is easy. But get accepted or invited by a good clan is very different question. Not really, most good clans need 1 m3 tank (tier 2) and 1 m3 weapon (tier 2 and sometimes isida/rail). Which, to be frank, is not too difficult to get. And even then, clans typically give exceptions if you show maturity, fair play, and kindness to the clan leaders. Just cause they set solid requirements doesnt mean they are going to be bureaucratic about it. To adress why clans require you to be of high rank (as far as official clans go), it is to prove oneʻs activeness in the game. In addition, anyone who isnt a 1st lieut or higher lacks the experience to not be a "noob" simply because time will make you better in game. Also, there is no reason as to why a WO5 should ever join an official clan because all the half decent official clan members have a pretty stacked garage and has a full team of brigad - marshals. If I were you, I would join an unofficial clan, get better there and learn the basics of clan games (which btw is vastly different then joining a pub) and build up your garage until you truly think yourself as fit for a clan.

Jesus christ, how many times have I seen a post like this? Okay time to briefly explain it again. There are various reasons as to why tanki does not have this feature. 1) tanki wants more moneys, refund services arnt really cash cows 2) The thing about games with a currency system is to really make you use your money wisely. Saving up, as hard as it is, is always a smart choice. 3) As you rank up, you will find selling old weapons you dont use as a mistake because sometimes you will find yourself bored of the newer and greater weapons and would love to meet up with some friends and fool around with smokey/wasp. 4) You will find that it isnt worth it because the refunds would only give 20% or crystals back and when you hit the upper tier guns, that 20% refund on cheap guns barely leaves a mark on the total amount of crystals you really need. 5) The game has been balanced to that you will get most of the m3 stuff you want before you hit marshall. If you had a complete m3 tier 2 garage before hitting that rank, what would be the point of playing past that. Oh and btw, tanki USED to have that feature until they figured, meh we want more money and only nubs want this service (no offense).

that is where you are wrong, you are thinking the version number as a decimal number when in reality it is more like a categorization or a code. where the first number is the marker for the game itself, the second being a major change, and the third being a minor change. DO NOT confuse the two. 1.100 > 1.99

That is not how it works :/ if it doesnt goto 2.0 (which is most likely) it will goto 1.100.0. Software version do not simply go from 1.99 to 2.0 becuase neither number has an impact on the other. The first number is basically the game itself. Games typically starts out at version 0.0. When it get totally revamped as in the whole game changes, it becomes 1.0. If only an element was changed, it becomes 0.1. Usually when very minor changes are made, a third value it brought into play (v0.0.1).

Buy the shaft, it does high damage and good aiming skill. Thunder (which is suggested by Selena) isn't that good. I start to wonder why people use that gun. I have all m3 and never touch such a gun like that. The only good thing about "thunder" is that it is the cheapest tier2 weapon in the game. With training shaft can be weilded well. Well... most people say that isida is 1.5 tier. but that is being technical I dont believe that there will be an isida tier 2, but rather a new, unique gun all on its own simply because if they create a healing weapon, it might as well be a isida M4 which defeats the purpose of having the 2nd gen weapons. I think they maybe brainstorming various special abilities that this weapon may have like (I am just throwing out random ideas): - Artillery (that would be so OP) - Supplies (DD, Nitro, Health, Armor...) - Debuffer (anti-drugger) - Shield (soaks up damage from nearby projectiles, maybe even reflects damage?) - Gun w/ Spread shot (shoots projectiles in an arc) - and on and on... Personally, I hope they dont work on making more powerful guns just more tier 1 and 2 guns because having a 4 for each one is kinda lame and very undiversified. Any game worth it wieght in salt, especially in todayʻs gaming era, is expected to have that diversity because going into a clan wars and seeing 2 or 3 guns (with the occasional 4th) and 1 or 2 different types of tanks is just sad.

I have M3 everything so allow me to input :) I do not really like my mammoth because it is so damn slow and traffic is always a constant issue. Also, you cannot leap from ledges without flipping. Mammoths are only really good in DM games, but even then everyone seems to point their guns at the bulky mammoth (kinda counter-intuitive but whatever). Stick with viking! (hornet is okay, but the low HP is such a big turn off). Oh, and focus more on M3ing your garage before getting a ton of paints. So that leaves the weapons... it really depends on play style, but for me it would be in this order of which I would get: 1- shaft <-- boring after a while, but point grinder! If you get this, people will HATE you 2- rico <-- fun! fun! fun! and of course very powerful 3- freeze <-- kinda fun, but very situational, it is practically a support/front line weapon so you kinda need a good team at your back to do well 4- thunder (before I get ridiculed for this, I must explain that thunder is not my play style, its fun and all but... its just that being that rico owns short range and shaft long range, it leaves a very small "in between" that thunder can really show its might. In other words, thunder is too situational).

depends on what games you play, what map, and who your opponents are. It is very situational but personally, my shaft seems the best at ir on large maps with lanes and freeze does best on "assault" style maps. Rico is great for holding choke points. Isida is great at reinforcing those at the front line while still being out of sight. Rail is great for hit and run. I could go on and on... It also depends on what mark gun you have. If I had m0 shaft, I would probably never use it in any case, but m3 shaft is pure power with a much better ROF then m0 (although it is still poor). When all is said and done, you have to really balance out dps, range, special abilities, run and gun factors, shoot and hide factors, and all the such. If I may suggest, get M0 EVERYTHING and use each weapon extensively in varying situations and play styles and find out from there which one really fits you and start building up that gun. If you are a bit low on crystals/rank to get M0 stuffs, go to YouTube and watch gameplay videos of each weapon and see how they play and see if that really suits your style. Of course there is another option... test server! (when it is open) I hope this long text wall was worth the read and was helpful enough to help you out in decisions as well as any other people that were interested in this post and came across this ^

Yes I do realize that 2.0 is practically a hopeless dream, but if I can dream it... then I shall. Until they formally tell us that 2.0 is cancelled, well... ya know :P I guess 2.0 is really the only thing that has me revisiting tanki every week or so, otherwise I would have left tanki altogether.

It is nice to peek into Tanki every once in a while and have the pleasant surprise that there is a new update that will take us even closer to 2.0! But boy, wasn't this last one a disappointment being that they were only bug fixes and payment UI changes. At least the Tanki team has done SOMETHING as opposed to nothing. So yay! Lets all rejoice that every day that passes, is a day closer to the release of 2.0 (which I am fairly confident it isn't a marketing hoax which some people seem to believe). Just to note because some people have some misconceptions about how software versions work, just becuase we are on 1.9.5, this does not mean we are 5 updates away from 2.0 because it can go three ways: - 1.9.5 --> 1.9.6 --> ... -->1.9.9 --> 1.9.10 ... - 1.9.5 --> 1.10.1 --> 1.10.2 --> ... ---> 1.11.0... - 1.9.5 --> 2.0!!!! lets hope it's that last one ;) So forum, what is your take on the latest update?
