Try to find one weapon you're best at and stick to it; it's not good to try to upgrade everything at once. Also, don't waste your crystals on paints that don't have any effect (and don't even look cool). I would upgrade Smoky and use it until you're ready to make a real decision; Smoky M3 is really good and is a good way to earn crystals.

You get a crystal refund; i.e. all the crystals you earned/spent will be available, buy you'll have to buy everything again.

Depends. If I get finished off by a guy who I could easily beat, yes, I'm annoyed. But if the guy is a lower rank than me but beats me because of skill, I'm fine with that.

For now, I think it's better for you to use M2 Railgun and start upgrading your corpus; probably Viking or Dictator, unless you prefer having lots of HP or lots of speed.

If you didn't buy drugs, you can just count up how much you spent by the cost of all the weapons, tanks, and upgrades. If you did buy drugs... no idea.
