I got my first gold box yesterday and got excited about it. I'm a Sergeant Major and never seen one before in a game. Do gold boxes only start to appear in battles of a certain rank? Or have i been unlucky so far?

gold boxes appear in all battles, but that doesnt mean that you will see them, since they are now random, you have a higher chance of seeing/getting one, but you could also be unlucky and not see any. Before the randomness was implemented though, lower ranks did have a lower chance of getting a gold box, since the battle fund would go up slower, and most of the time the battle would finish before the battle fund got near to 700, however with high ranks, the fund would go up quicker, making it fall sooner.

Well yes - you get exited if you get a gold box and you get angry if you see one and don't get it. What I'm trying to say is that you can get exited but not like making a topic about it on forum - that's just werid. Adn it's not something to get exited about by seing a gold box. I got a gold box about a week ago so it lead for me buying Thunder M1 but still...

 

And cheese3000 you should read the news - 700 fund comeing gold box has been cancelled and it is now on random when the gold box is comeing!

i would say that a topic isnt that bad compared to some of the other topics we have on the forum, at least its in the right place, and isnt just someone being stupid.

I've noticed a message appears at the top of the screen when someone gets a gold box and i've never seen it say someone else has got a gold box and i regularly check the top of the screen to see what's happening with the flags. :(

Yep, you are right.It's good to have lots of supplies.And 3 days ago I had 60 of each drug (mines-10), but I spent them.And when I left with some DA and Nitro, I got a gold in Kungur (my first gold in this map).

 

It was pure luck that the Rico+Mammoth didn't see the gold, it was 1 meter away from him.

 

 

And, look at my 'health'...It was so close :mrgreen:

Or are they? Don't be so sure cause there is a BIG difference between M1 and M2. Why does Majority of clans take M2s but not M1s - tell me - cuz they are useless. I have Thunder M1 and it's rubbish. I purchased Isida M2 if I haven't already mentioned it...

 

Difference between Viking M1 and M2:

 

16 health larger capacity

M1 speed is 5.8, M2 speed is 6.5 which is almost a speed of Hornet M0

Grads are either faster

 

so if M1 and M2 were the same there would be no point of purchasing M2 if they had all things the same so in your place I would think before saying something like that...

 

And as I see you have Viking M2 yourself.
