Hi developers,

 

It's been a year since the last new item in garage, well excluding the holiday paints of course. The game play is getting repetitive and boring with same guns, hulls, paints and maps. Atleast let us know if there are any plans of introducing new items in the garage.

I got no idea, but I hope so as well :) Maybe 2 more guns and 1bmore hull... Maybe another kind of isida, and another snyper weapon. Also more protective paints against Shaft and maybe also a paint that costs 50k and protects from everything 10%? Or 5%? And about hulls, well, maybe a bit faster then Viking and a bit stronger then mammoth..

I agree with Afg. I play some games that always introduce a new style of game once a year. Like a certain mmorpg that originaly started with 2 characters (class) and adds one each year. (5 now) :roll:

 

But I also disagree with you. Tanki is releasing a new game style soon (Something new apart from DM, TDM, CTF) and it should be a decently large update in terms of gameplay, and something decent to keep the game fresh.

It's the same hulls and weapons, just a bit different looking. What I am trying to say is that it has been over 1 year since the last new item in garage. You get tired of using the 4 guns and 3 hulls over n over again.

yeah i know that we only have those old guns and hulls.

 

but if a guy can bring an idea for a totally diffrent weapon(no plasma-or a normal gun- or electronic gun) then maybe they will put this gun or hull in the game.

 

but ofcourse if someone have a idea, he better try to make a picture for the weapon-hull

I agree with you, but the point here is the fact that it seems that developers have "something going on" for us to be implemented soon.

 

As you said too, the word "soon" often mean "probably not in a near future nor next 5 months", but should we wait for it? I think so.

 

I'll wait to see the new Game Style and hope for a refund too.

I think that with the new game implemented and a refund, quite all players will be happy and ready to start to enjoy again Tanki.

 

Why the new game style is usefull? Players, after time of doing CTF (aka take a flag, kill, take a flag, drug, kill, ecc) or DM/TDM (kill, drug, kill, kill, ecc) will enjoy at all a new game style, since it will implement a new dynamic in the game, it will probably require more alleances and effort by single players and clans, and along this line, players will start to like again Tanki.

 

Why is a new tank required? I think we need to implement a new tank (atm I can't think of an example, but we should suggest one) since we have 4 Tier1 and 3 Tier2 tanks. We need to add one Tier2 tank to balance the amount of tanks and add more chances for buyer to buy, to Tanki developpers to earn some money and Tanki fan enjoy new thing!

 

Why is a new turret required? Same as for tanks, we need to balance the amount of turrets (5 Tier1 and only 4 Tier2), add a new item for fan, add a new item to be bought for buyers and another chance to earn money for developpers, all of those simply adding one more turret.

 

Why the refund is usefull? Well, let's think in this way..

• You are a buyer: You have all tanks and turrets M3, lots of drugs and lots of paints, so for you maybe a refund will be useless except to cut off some unusued tanks/turrets to buy more paints

• You are a non-buyer: You have some tanks and some turrets upgraded all with effort and hard work, with hours of battle, you will love a refund since when you firstly joined, you spent some of your money on turrets/tanks that now you don't use anymore and you miss money to upgrade your actual tanks/turrets and buy paints, since you are not a buyer and those tanks/turrets and paints are expensive.

The only problem with a refund is that new players that join after the refund will complain and ask for another refund since they want to choose better tanks/turrets as we were able if a refund happened.

 

And here comes my last point - Add a "Sell" button or a "Try Mode" or something along this line can be so difficult?

"Try Mode" Pros: Allow player to choose only preferred tanks/turrets and paints and let them enjoy them.

"Try Mode" Cons: Players will be able to waste less crystals (aka waste less money or need less time since they focus only on some tanks/turrets) since they will see how that turret/tank and paint work and don't have to buy it to M3 to check his features (aka, a bit less money for developpers).

I'm actually quite happy with the current tanki. In my humble opinion, I prefer the current graphics over the "softer and lighter" variation, as it looks more realistic. I realize the developer's aims to make gameplay more intuitive, but in my opinion, leaning towards the "war simulation" is better. Right now tanki involves a diverse age group; radically changing graphics may have a large effect on a particular demographic.

 

Basically I think the graphics are fine, but a new item would indeed be nice. A new hull, like the ufo we've been seeing all over and in TTT would be a great addition.
