The forum is alright, it'll just take some time to get used to!

On the side note, I can't get the login window to appear on my Google Chrome, that leaves me to use Internet Explorer when I need to post anything.

Great job though :D

I reckon it's decent. The colour schemes are the same, the editor is far better, private messages are better, being able to post status updates is amazing, so is being able to view everyone in the memberlist. I don't like the way you can see who viewed who's profile, but that's it. It's a bit too thin for my liking as well, but that's all that I preferred about the old forum. I would love a friend list, profile fields, editable signatures, avatars, ranks for staff members, a link in with tanki ranks as well. I hope for some improvements soon. Forums without editable profile fields and uploadable avatars are just boring! Although I do love the superscript feature strikethrough feature.

Well, it looks good... It will take time to get fully used to it though.

however, I think they did over-sized the posts, the space on this new forum isn't used ''economical''

example: see this message, There's a huge distance between this one an the one above me.

The multiquote button rocks, That's saves me alot of work when I need to multi quote something.

And I'm an advanced member... everyone is BTW, I've did some research.

Federal, you're an advanced member too... shouldn't it say consultant?

wertwieuri: you're consultant picture is not visible, what happened?

Yeah, the posts aren't so good, but I think they will be fixed.

Some elements like avatars disappeared after changing the Forum. They will be back soon.

As for this 'Advanced member' - that's a member title, idk what it is exactly.

I am still a Candidate, but I think soon other Staff members will get their 'rank' - normal members have 'General' rank (group), while for example, kool is in TankiMods group. But I'm not sure if groups will = to ranks.

Also, It says my age is unknown... when I try to edit it it says that I'm not allowed to...

How am I not allowed to change my age at the forum to ''unkown'' to (...)?

And I was hoping we could have avatars in this forum.

edit: I've gone to +-1820 to 1790 post, where did the deleted posts go?

I guess the system for adding age will be unlocked soon.

No.Normal members will not have avatars for the moment, and I am quite happy about that - because adding avatars by normal members will be...CHAOS.First, the Forum will start looking as a Christmas tree, as I say, the 'calm' dark design will be gone...And, for the chaos - what I mean is that most people will upload Staff avatars/profanity pictures/18+ content, etc... - not good.

As you say - 'deleted' :D In the old Forum, the deleted posts were counted under avatars (example), but not in the profile.

In the new Forum I think they won't be counted at all - that's why they disappeared.Deleted-deleted.

banner code does not work?

It doesn't, and it won't I think.

Signatures - I don't think they will be added, and also, they will just cause flood...But I don't know, what about signatures available only to certain people?

Avatars - no at the moment.

Ranks - Maybe.

It's easy to have a limit on size on signatures. Character limit, plus a rule which states if you have a picture over the dimensions, of, say 300x50, your signature will be edited.

Avatars, firstly, 18+ images and profanity is so easy to moderate. Secondly, if you give staff members a rank which appears over their avatar. For example, in this forum, you can see the avatar to the side of each post, followed by the username, followed by a rank. That rank distinguishes normal members from admins. It should not be too hard for that to be the same here, I think. For a time, it could be bannable to use staff avatars, but after a while, everyone will forget about staff avatars and nobody will use them.

This is not true.. On the forum, there are around 18K and more players, would you like to check each of them to avoid profanity in they signature/avatar?

I've been a Forum Lead Admin for 2 times in two differents Online Games, and believe me, even checking 200 or 1900 players' avatar/signature is quite annoying and difficult.

I did not mean you had to go through other people's profiles. But moderators moderate threads as it is, they read most threads, so they will be able to check if the avatars are legitimate or not. Plus, people can report them.

the 'calm' dark design will be gone...

IMO, the sooner that it's gone the better...

Yeah, I guess it's fine as it is now, I'm pretty familiar with those calm colors...

But there could be something more simpler like a specific color for being a normal-member/DJ or staff member, etc.

What I really want in this new forum is forum ranks;

The amount of posts give you a rank (not an image) like this:

Don't look at the avatar, look at the description under the username.

After gaining 2500 posts you should be able to customize it instead of using the forum descriptions.

And you want to turn the Tanki Forum into a bright colored forum?Come on... <_<

Of course I do. Bright coloured forums look better. I don't mind the darkness so much. I dislike the calmness, that's the thing. It's a forum, for goodness sake! Forums aren't meant to be calm.
