Chrome: Must constantly "Refresh"

Why is it that EVERYTIME I use Chrome, gameplay is affected (tanks suddenly move in 1 direction, turrets spin slowly, power ups don't function, etc.)???

I CONSTANTLY must refresh the browser and everything's ok for a few minutes then it's back to the same problem. My FPS ranges 25-35 and I turn off EVERYTHING in the settings (shadows, battle chat, etc.). I've already read the so called "fix" about deleting the ineffective shockwave application, and I am NOT downloading or running other programs while playing tankionline. I've got a good signal.

 

Don't tell me to use Firefox or IE, it's worse.

haha it happen to me so i stop using Chrome. I don't know what kind of computer but i have a mac so i try Opera but it fail then i use safari but is very slow even i clear my cache memory ect. so i Download Camino browser and is more faster and simple. when i play it it only take like 1 minute to enter to the battle. Ohh some suggestions don't use to many Bookmarks because the browser may thing they are running and it will crash it happen to me only 2 times because i was running other programs while playing. With this browser you may have lag just like you experience with Chrome but it goes in 3 seconds i like it because you could take avantage of that and take the flag. But i like it is very fast. try it. :fire_l:

yeah..same hre too......Chrome is the best (in terms of speed and functionality), but it sucks anyway.......and Firefox, couldnt agree mre..much worse...even thn explorer.

Your probably lagging. No offense, but IE is better. When i use IE, i load in like, 10 seconds. Not exageratting. Its because i make my cache memory 850. Chrome cant change that. It use to happen to me once in a while.

So what is your solution? This is a REAL problem. As I've stated, IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome ALL have this "lost signal" problem. I've been able to play at 35-40 FPS (no lag) and i've still got this issue.

THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. I've been in more than 20+ battles, some of which go over an hour, and I must refresh A MINIMUM OF 10+ TIMES JUST TO FINISH THE BATTLE. IT AFFECTS MY SCORE SEVERELY TO GO IN AND OUT OF BATTLES!!!! Not to mention the amount of supplies (healths, ammo, shields, speeds) I've wasted.

There can be many things effecting this issue. Hich posted one solution, there are others on the FAQ section of the forum along with a link for the stand-alone that can be used where it will not run off a browser. The developers are working on the issues that are effecting game play. Hopefully soon they will have more fixed.
