Elusive Gold Box...

I just wanted to share my recent frustration with Gold Boxes. Yesterday I played Sandbox 5 flag map. Our team was leading 4:1 a gold box shows up. I'm the only one who notices it. I'm ready to snatch it and..... The match ends cuz one of my teammates delivers enemy flag to our post, gold box dissapears...

 

Today on polygon a gold box falls and im really close to it. I use nitro and start charging for it. A hornet also notices it and goes for it. We are neck and neck. We get there at the exact same time and he gets it..... Same thing has happened to me at halloween with 305 box btw.

 

I just want to say that Viking is the worst tank to pick up boxes, golden or other. It is the lowest tank in the game and is at a disadvantage compared to other tanks. Dictator beats it hands down, as does hornet. Just my 2c.

Viking is the best hull in my opinion; it is stable, fast and has decent HP... better then a noob dictator who blocks the team fire completely.

I have only gotten 2 gold boxes becuase the same thing happens to me every time, :ph34r: gold box theaves. (They are everywhere!)

Splitter i've never said viking wasn't stable or relatively fast, or a balanced tank. All I said is that is on the bottom of the chain when it comes to height. I'm sticking with it. Good luck catching falling boxes when other types of tanks are around you.

I like to use hornet, but then I need loads of double armour and loads of first aid. I think Mammoth would be good too, but then I need loads of nitro...

Don't triple post Wiki-goo!

It is very frustrating to see a gold just before the battle ends, they shouldn't remove it once the battle starts again, like supplies they also stay.

About the other scenarios, that's just bad luck, I had that once with Dictator. Thought I had it, already took a screenshot, but it turned out I didn't catch it.

I use Viking and I have to say, I can't complain about the amount of gold boxes I caught.

Dictator fails big time; the whole team fails because one stupid noob who has this hull equipped.

blocking all the fire, gets in the way every time...

I care more about the team then a gold-box.
