Why am I awesome?

Probably because you are a ninja cow, but other than that I wouldn't know.

Note: this is supposed to be a serious topic, with serious questions and serious answers.

How fast are we travelling right now?

----

even if you stand perfectly still you are still moving at a speed of 33,000 miles per hour as that is how fast the earth travels in space

Is there smaller particall than electron?

--- electrons have indeed been split , its a complicated procedure. Electrons have a slight motion spin and orbit inside the atom, when the electrons were split apart by x-rays there were two new particles formed one particle took the spinny motion and became known as the "spinon" the other particle took the orbit motion and became known as the "orbiton" this is the first time that any fundamental motion has been observed to separate from one another the spinon only moves in one diection and the orbiton only moves in the other

According to this source: http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/question.php?number=356, the earth travels double that speed around the sun alone, which excludes the speed that our solar system is travelling around the Milky Way, and the speed the Milky Way is travelling through the universe. It'd be a lot more than 33,000 mph I reckon.

Are you ever going to discover a new element?

New elements will most definitely be discovered. We can predict them with our periodic table. We can also see its mass and how many shells it will have.Thats the power of science. To predict something that doesn't exist.

I had a real problem measuring it the speedometer on my push bike only goes up to 33,000 mph so I had to make the best guess I could based on observational paralax to the nearest star. Thanks for the update, I will make sure I take off the wheelies and glitter pom poms so its a bit more aerodynamic next time I try to take a measurement B)

Is there any chance Dinosaur can life again ?

---

A friend of mine from Berkeley University was involved in the original work of extracting DNA from blood in the stomachs of mosquitoes captured inside amber in an attempt to find DNA of dinosaurs, his work went onto inspire the film Jurassic Park, which in its self is incorrectly titled as dinosaurs are from the Cretaceous period. There are living descendants of dinosaurs now everywhere, the birds we see today are directly descended from flying dinosaurs, just as we humans are descended from our presimmion ancestors. Will we ever be able to find viable source material from which to "clone" or replicate new living dinosaurs, this is highly unlikely.

do you believe in the string theory? why or why not

---

string theory is an attempt the marry up the currant theories of the very very large universe and the very very small particles inside atoms and how they interact together- we are ofcourse talking about super string theory which evolved from the basic string theory many high profile theorists think that super string theory is a step towards the correct fundamental description of nature at the moment. It does mean that you have to take "a leap of faith" because string theory allows for a consistent combination of Quantum field theory ( the small bits) and Einsteins' general relativity theory, and because it agrees with general insights into quantum gravity ( or how we think gravity behaves next to a black hole). There is one other thing that you have to get to grips with if you are to form an opinion either way and that is the multiverse theory the whole idea of string theory hangs together if there are a minimum of 4 universes and some think up to 11 or more, if you can take this onboard the mathematics becomes consistent and repeatable a basis for all scientific research. My own comment is that this is a step along the way an I think this may form part of a bigger long term picture we have yet to discover, even the great Hawkings after 30 years of work said some of his research was wrong and he had to start over again and he has 3 possible models for time and how our universe formed during the few seconds after the big bang. So do I believe in string theory I think its going in the right direction, but it will only be part of the answer

Why do we have hairs( not hair, but hairs)? I dont need them, they just make my hand and legs more ugly xd

hair on the human body is mostly vestigial and in a few thousand years it will be mostly gone along with other useless stuff like the third eyelid the ear muscles and the eppendix
