protest for N0-REBALANCE

Wow, just wow, lot's of aggravation out here...

 

I would love to be the one throwing some fuel on this burning fire by asking... If you bought a weapon with 25% discount, do you get a 100% or a 75% refund?

The original 2.0 plans was 75%. I expect that to be the same again now. Not sure though.

Sounds no more than logic. In this case I do need a sale asap ;)

 

We all knew the rebalance was coming, but the thing I can't realy get my head around is... Why not take the easy way out!

 

We all agree the tier 2 weapons are balanced perfectly as well as the tier 1 weapons (exceptions left out). I assume it would be easier for Tanki to just increase the damage from tier 1 turrents and hp from tier 1 hulls up to tier 2 standards. All of us are used to firing rate, reload time, turrent swing speed, tank speed and such, so why not leave these statistics alone. I personally belief more people will be happy this way. Throw some new paints in the mix as well and you're set.

 

Or, am I talking funny here!?

I like both refund and rebalance, but if you want rebalance you need refund and if you want refund its more logical to do a rebalance :)

Im gonna use Wasp Rail or Wasp Smoky :D

Personally, I like it. The only problem I could see is that in order to rebalance shaft and ricochet, the tier one guns would have to be extremely powerful at what they do best. Let me explain. For example, currently the Tier Two weapons are extremely good for what they do. Shaft has extremely high damage per shot. Freeze extremely high damage per shot. Currently, these are evened out by counter-weapons (Thunder splash reduces shaft's effect; Ricochet's knockback reduces Freeze's effect).

 

Then, when the 1.0 weapons are upgraded, they will either have to be extremely powerful (which turns health into an irrelevance as weapons become OP'd) or also extremely good at what they do best (But that would mean that Twins would cause serious lag, having double the shots per second it does now, or smoky becoming a type of ricochet, or Firebird's new burn feature being overpowered, or Isida's healing power being such that nobody can be killed if an isida is healing them etc).

 

I know I'm exaggerating, but that is a potential problem that I can see. Currently, Tier Two is well-balanced. Adding extra factors into the mix could reshuffle that balance. It may be best to rebalance the whole thing again.

Hey, the test server was open not long ago, but I had no time to take a video because I left to a Thanksgiving party. Fortunately I had the time to take this screen shot.

You have smoky m0 and wasp m0 at recruit. Everything else you can buy at recruit for 1 crystal. I didn't have time to see everything but railgun could be upgraded to m1 at warrant officer 3 and m3 at marshal and costed 2000 for m3.

Also hornet m3 went 10.8 speed.

For all those dreaming about the refund, take a look at the RUMORED prices of weapons and tanks.

Ok so let me translate a little. In the first column are all the guns and hulls starting from smoky, firebird, twins, railgun, isida, thunder, freeze, ricochet, shaft. Followed by wasp, hornet, hunter, titan, dictator, viking, mammoth. The next 4 columns are their respective NEW prices at each modification (m0 m1 m2 m3). The next 2 columns are the after and before total costs respectively. The next four columns show the ranks at which each modification is available.

 

 

So this means that smoky which costs 420 crystals to modify till m3, will cost 35,260 crystals after rebalance. Yea I know the figures are crazy but this is just rumored in the russian community. Also, you won't be able to get a taste of smoky m3 till 27th rank i.e. Marshal. Most of the m3 weapons will be unlocked at ranks from Brigadier to Marshal.

 

 

If by any chance this is true, then all those players boasting a full m3 garage will need a total of 442 050 crystals to get back to where they were (excluding the paints). Also this is a bad news for players below the rank of Brigadier. No more m3 m3!!!

Being a buyer and a marshal, I just hope this is true. :D :P

^Those look like good specs. I suspect that the prices of the current tier 1 may be a bit lower, and the ranks unlocked would be slightly lower as well. I can't see Tanki making M3 Brigader+-only - it'd reduce their potential for profit from lower-ranked buyers. I'm expecting something around lieutenant - colonel for M3s, with the final M3s unlocked at Brigadier. I may be wrong though.
