I don't do it in experience I set myself a goal to get at least 500 crystals a day when I have time to play, I have updated this as I was reaching that too often so I try for 800 a day now, and like Lhamster I have been known to get between 0-10k a day in exp

I don't try to get much exp because I don't want to rank up without having a good garage, so I usually get 500-1000.

don't have to worry about ranking without a good garage, after the re-balance all M3/M3 unlock after Brigadier.
