Prior to re-balance (RB), I had nearly everything M3. I've been doing Tanki for a while. :) Having ciphered prices, I certainly cannot replace all that I want, but consider this. I understand the concept of delayed gratification. I know how to manage assets and exploit opportunities. Hence I'll do as I did previously. I'll buy what I need to function (Did that with "retail" purchases of Viking M3, Ricochet M3 and Picasso.), then I'll wait on sale opportunities to regain lost assets at improved cost. The concept is known as delayed gratification. Google it if you don't understand it. The cookie demonstration is especially telling.

Many players are youthful and suffering from covetous and what my grandfather termed as "money burning a hole in their pockets." Of course all are free to choose their own path, but I encourage buying conservatively. You may look at your "refund" and think you're insanely wealthy, but all will dribble away, especially if you squander what you have. I played two matches yesterday to learn of the altered and disappointing performance of the Rico which runs out of shots far too quickly and the diminished speed of the Viking. I also learned that many are suffering drug madness. Continue! Your assets will fade quickly, and you'll have made no significant improvement on your long term assets, your tanks, turrets and skins. Burn up those drugs and enjoy temporary feelings of invincibility, or temper your ambitions with plans and actions for long term, permanent gain. Finally, be advised there won't be another RB, and earning/buying crystals will be at least as challenging as previously if not more so.

This, of course, is worth only what you paid to read it. :)

It takes -hp from tank! In garage you can see the % thats how many rou electro shot takes off.

i know whats the -hp stand for :P what i wanted to know was how much HP does it reduce on smoky critical hit? i played a couple of battles earlier and i hit critical hits quite a number but no clue how critical the hit was.

All credit goes to PabloBlue for these spreadsheets!

Paints

Weapons

Tanks

Thanks for these spreadsheets, but in my opinion the most important informations is missing:

* how many shots have fully loaded ricochet? Old weapons spreadsheets had this data and we could easily calculate, for example, that ricochet m3 had 18 missles in ammo until it start shooting slower or need reload and it was able to make damage from 216hp (12hp/shot*18shots) to 288hp (16hp/shot*18shots). Now we can't predict it

* how long time isida/firebird/freeze can continuously shoot and how long time they need to fully reload? Old weapons spreadsheets had this information and we could easily calculate, for example, that isida m3 can grab max 120hp fully loaded (24hp/s*5s) and then it needed 15seconds to reload fully, or freez m3 could make damage 288hp (36hp/s*8s) in distance up to 20m and then it needed 10s to reload fully. Now we can't predict it

* how freeze/firebird/thunder/smoky/twins firepower is affected by distance? Old weapons spreadsheets had this information and we could easily know, for example, that freeze m3 makes 36hp/s damage up to 20m and then 6hp/s less for each m (above 25m reaching 0hp/s), or old thunder m3 - its spash damage were 25% native shot damage if enemy was between 5m and 10m radius from point of hit. Now we can't predict it

Without these data there is no possible (I'm sure not only for me) to chose right weapons/hulls combination and calculate most usefull paints...

You have hit the nail right on it's head! The fact that we now have to decide what to get based on specifications only, makes it really hard if they are NOT complete. I have searched hard but could not find any proper and official information about the specs mentioned above, including Smoky's critical hit (and how it works) and Firebirds afterburn (and how it works)!

I used to decide based on experience what to get, now all that's left are specs and my fantasy of what the battlefield might look like after the re-balance. Definitely a disadvantage for the higer ranks!

And what's up with the option to buy your way up to the higest rank? With all due respect, I like to play against people with simular experience, not some kindergarden kids who bought their way into university. How nice, a re-balance that is de-balanced straight away  . It clearly shows that re-balance is just a money making issue and that it has nothing to do with balancing the game. Nothing wrong with making some money, but how about a win-win situation?

I could go on about how the prices are to high, and how I don't like some weapons specs anymore, but what I wrote above are my biggest issues with the re-balance.

He means the welcome back bonus. If you dont log in for 3 weeks or so, you get a welcome back bonus (30 chrystals). Its quite much free chrystals in the very low ranks.

No, depends on rank

You get about 350 crystals.

I just hope you get about 700 know (Your rank)

(Reply to maddogs post)

If I seen that, I would have waited until new year (Discount time guess)

But I spent 12,000 crystals.

Atleast not in vain.

Hunter is clearly awesome now.

Viking has been overthrown be its pre-rebalance younger brother.

Like wise for mammoth, titan has passed it, but mammoths M0 and M1 are slightly better the the first modifications of titan.

Wasp and hornet have come up on equals.

Thunder has a nice 1 hit kill to it now, when you use drugs.

About your drugs, I just use drugs from the daily bonus.

Ricochet, lost its rounds and only good with drugs... like everything.

Smoky is know that silent demon, a crippling 190 damage when you least expect it, but marshal for that upgrade might be to excessive.

Firebird, freeze and isida are scary, with the 50 damage, but, the new hp boost compensates.

Twins, I do not know.

Railgun is still dangerous.

Shaft is not great anymore.

Meh.

Can someone please help me. I bought M2 Rico and M1 Viking. I now see that Rico sucks but I have no crystals left. Should I forget about Rico and start upgrading thunder? Thanks!

You are correct. I changed my mind about it after an Iran disaster. It was an M3 Smoky/Viking. He was destroying everything. It is deadly at long range and close range. I think it may be the replacement for Shaft. It is way overpowered even in an NS battle. I hope no one hacks it. It would take an expert to tell the difference between a legit Smoky and a hack.. I ain't one !!

Hunter vs Viking...

My choice is Hunter because of its speed. Viking isn't as good as it used to be.

I agree, you can buy a paint to increase Hunter's health, but you cannot buy a paint to increase Viking's speed.

Isida is really good, so are Railgun and Thunder. I still haven't seen any Firebird.

Same, we might have encountered the same person XD

But I still think that smoky is useless because it can one kill one tank at a time.

the reason why noobody likes rebalance is because they thought they were gonna get all their crystals back and upgrade to m3. i guess they didnt see the part where the ranks of guns increased and so did the prices. fricking idiots they are.

I thought that when I first heard there might come a refund one day. But then more (solid) information came..

I don't post often, but here's what I see happening to most people who had Viking before, like me.

Viking M2 is still a solid all-around hull for lower ranks, but Dictator M3 will destroy you.

This is the problem. At lower/middle ranks, everyone will buy Viking M2 because it's better than Dictator. Viking M2 has 29hp more and is same speed as Dictator M2. But once you outgrow Viking M2 and want to go M3, you don't! Because Dictator M3 is 13hp stronger and 1.1m/sec faster!

What is my point? If you want the strongest tank at your level, the rebalance forces you to buy the full range of at least two different hulls during your rank up. Which is disappointing. It'd be nice to buy 1 hull and know for your entire gaming life to be able to grow/upgrade with it to the top.

Smoky + wasp for me until I think this through...

Why do you think they did a rebalance in the first place?

And besides, you can get to the top with 1 combo... it's just really hard in the beginning. ^_^
