I benefited from the rebalance because I was lucky enough to have a lot of crystals. I know a lot of good folks on the Forum that were not so fortunate. That is the ONE PART about the rebalance that makes me feel uncomfortable. I met and played with and against some really good people. I learned a lot from them. Now I see them and they are using M1 and M2 turrets and hulls where they used to have M3 equipment. I am sitting there M3'ed out the kazoo and I feel guilty about it. There has to be a way to equalize this situation. There is no way to equalize the equipment, but maybe they could go back to the OLDS POINTS SYSTEM. Higher ranks get less points for destroying a lower rank and lower ranks get more points for destroying higher ranks. I always liked that system anyway. The D/L of a player might suffer, but his points would definitely increase and his crystal reward would increase too. More points, more crystals, more ranking up at a quicker rate, better equipment.

 

It's just an opinion. We can't change the rebalance, but I know there are enough smart people in Tanki to come up with something that would make it fun for all of us. Any suggestions ??

your sugggestion is good, but it will make everything more complicated, it's already way to complicated now, dont think they will change thier hard work men, it's here to stay like it or not :P

Ok, just picked a battle with my Smoky/Wasp..... and everywhere I looked it was Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...Mammoth, Mammoth, Mammoth...

I call that a re-balance FAIL!

...everywhere are Thunders and they are winners, it something mean, re-balance can have name re-thunderance

This this and this. I am playing low rank game with Sergeant Majors and WO ranks - the armor difference between Mammoth and lighter tanks makes the latter useless. Overpowered Thunder kills hornets and wasps in two shots. That happens in seconds. Their speed is not enough, they need a ton of luck to do anything useful. Or drugs, in which case Mammoth wins again if he drugs back.

 

Difference before re-balance between heavy and light tank in Hit Points was 2:1 (Titan:wasp, Mammoth:Hornet). Now it is closer to 2.5:1, sometimes 3:1 (Mammoth M1 can be bought on rank 6 with 200HP). This made Tanki Online a Thunder dominated slug match, small tanks are just easy prey. Nobody can resist killing those little buggers with cheap Thunder M0 and Mammoth which can take a beating with a smile. I am using Thunder/Mammoth combo as well, having kill/death ratio close to 3 or 4.

 

Re-balance promised a better variety of tanks and weapons in the field, currently I feel we are headed towards total Thunder domination. You could change the game title to Thunder Online?

 

So yes, re-balance was done too fast, was not thought through enough and we should be looking at a re-re-balance soon. Which makes the whole Tanki Online business a little silly.

you are obviously noob thunder users who take full advantage of the fact that thunder is so frigging OP right now

 

they DO NEED to weaken thunder, even if they dont buff ricochcet, they still need to nerf thunder

tanki online looses a player who spent real money and was willing to give some 50 euro for x-mas present. :( this re-balance sucks hard and i´m gone forever (or till you start recocnizing that re-balance is crap). will follow you some weeks on facebook but for now tanke online is dead. re-balance - taking the "fun" out of tanki online. :( sad. your game was really good.

just the question: did you ever spend one minute asking yourself how some intense players would feel with some of the changes made?! you cannot expect me or my friends talk good in any way about to one facebook or elsewhere in social networks anymore - it´s more the oppisite way. sad thing.

correct me if i'm wrong...this rebalance issue... a person start playing tanki today... tomorrow he can be a generallisimo.. provided he BUYS.. xperience.. so theres nothing about gaining xperience by putting hours in the game.. In fact it started. when xperience can be bought with crystal..butonly up to a certain rank... Now, on Generallisimo doesn't have to buy xperiece.. of course they don't... In other words, it's just MONEY...

I think the devs should go back to the original Tanki balancement, like the Tier 2 M3 Hulls, each tank had 300 points in stats, for example Mammoth had 200 HP and 100 rotation speed which is equal to 5.0 movement speed, Hornet had 100 HP and 200 rotation speed which is equal to 10.0 movement speed.

Here is my idea on Hull stats:

 

Hull - Health - Speed - Rotation

 

Mammoth - 200 - 5.0 - 100

Titan - 180 - 6.0 - 120

Viking - 170 - 6.5 - 130

Dictator - 150 - 7.5 - 150

Hunter - 130 - 8.5 - 170

Hornet - 120 - 9.0 - 180

Wasp - 100 - 10.0 - 200

 

Tier 2 Weapons and Isida should have the same old stats, except Shaft that was OP, and then Rebalance the Tier 1 weapons to be equal to Tier 2 Weapons.

 

Also the required Ranks is lame, all M3 stuff should be available at least in Brigadier rank.

 

Well this is my feedback, I know the Tanki Online Developers won't listen but whatevs.

Just how I think the hulls should be aswell... very evenly split in characteristics. I do like the idea of some hulls taking more time to upgrade, but I don't think it should be like that too much. The hulls must be evenly devided with how they are. Your list is pretty much perfect.

 

We can just hope that the developers will put in some minor changes and improve some things.

I don't understand why they even had to touch the Tier 2 weapons... except Shaft, though to do like that it was a very strong gun, it made the game exciting. But sure, the old Shaft should be a bit less powerful, but not too much I think. And I didnt even used it.

 

Only the old Tier 1 weapons should have been changed. People have used a specific weapon so long and have a favorite gun... it's better to have the old "mistakes" about the guns left in, rather than creating new mistakes in gun-characteristic... becouse there will probably always be people who will bash a gun.

Yes this ist the TRUTH !!! MONEY,MONEY,MONEY !!! And more "NUBOGENERALISSIMO"" The skilful players are stuck on low ranks, and guns with low M, and the reason????, lack of MONEY!!!! This ist the reasone of Rebalance..........not the Game and Players. :angry:

My thoughts on the rebalance:

Isida's healing power is too high.

Firebirds DoS is too high

Prices for the paints are too high

Smoky is way to expensive.

Twins are also way too expensive.

Viking is pretty much useless.

Let's just hope they do some serious tweaking... don't give up on the game, it's a great game and I love it. I'm sure they will improve alot of things in a near future.

I guess isida is pretty waste (because you can heal but cant survive to attack ) so isida will be just full time healers and not enjoy the attack , no point of full as per me .

I was an isida before with dict and could do both but no longer hornets and wasp can do it , and dict is too slow (atleast till m2)

seriously i just played an hour long game start to finish with both teams full players and only 100 battle fund in the end, how the hell are we supposed to upgrade if the fund is so freaking skrimpy

Tankis goal is to make more money with this rebalance, but the truth is that only super wealthy people plays tanki in future by buing the ranking and all M3 garage. The thing Tanki doesnt understand is, that so many people quits playing Tanki as it is unfair for those who have no interest in spending 1000 dollars to a stupid internet game. Masses of people quitting tanki is will be way more expencive to Tanki than those few new players with their daddys credit cards. The whole rebalance killed the game totally, and once the trust of players have been betrayed they wont come back and people will tell their story to the others not familiar to Tanki. There is absolutely no guarantee that even if you now spend 1500 dollars to get a nice garage, that there wont be another rebalance in just few weeks were everything is again taken away from you and then you need to buy them back with 4000dollars. The whole rebalance is nothing but a serious series of underestimating loyal and paying customers.
