My impression of tanks and weaps after rebalance

Wasp and Hornet: On paper, this is now much better than hornet, with just a mere 16 hp, you get a 1.7 increase in speed! Wasp also has superior turret location, Only reasons you want hornet is because: wasp is taller and with high speed much easier to topple while turning and slightly harder to hit using freeze/firebird and hornet m3 is 2 ranks earlier to unlock than wasp m3 and hornet looks nicer.

Hunter and Viking and Dictator: Like Wasp and Hornet, the once tier 2 hull trades speed for hp. Hunter is 1.3 faster which is still alot, but loses to viking by 28 hp. Hunter is taller and viking is shorter, short/tall both have their uses, shorter is better for firebird and freeze, taller is better for isida and shooting stuff on higher ground. I would say get viking though, because the turret position is better, letting you expose less of your tank while shooting stuff. Dictator is the new king, on hard stats it completely outclasses viking in both speed and hp departments, while for hunter you trade a mere 0.3 speed for a more noticable 39 hp. Dictator has also a superior turret position, only downsides are it take a high rank to unlock m3 and it is huge.

Mammoth and Titan: Mammoth has 44 more hp and a superior turret location trading for a 0.6 speed, I say mammoth. Plus mammoth looks nicer.

Isida and Freeze and Firebird: Isida now heals WAY faster, in fact its 58 healing dps is more than any other weapon's dps so unlike pre rebalance running out of charge is rare. For a bit lesser DPS it now wins ANY fight 1vs1 as long as you get into range quick enough. This is now THE flag stealer, when drugged it can take out a entire enemy team and run away with full hp, however when things start getting crowded and cramp freeze and firebird wins though. Firebird now has afterburn, the longer you shoot the enemy the redder their tank becomes and the worst the burn is. What i dont know is how long the charge lasts, if its 5 secs isida and freeze all the way, if its 8 then is alright. Freeze is now THE camping defender, its freeze lasts WAYYY longer than pre balance freeze, around 5-8 secs i think, pretty much destroys flag cappers. Also the most dps at 56 except maybe firebird with afterburn, however expect to lose to a isida if you let him get into range. Pretty balanced here i think, my preference is for isida for being so cheap and practical since you can either heal or go flagcapping/killing.

Ricochet and Twins: Nothing much to say here, these are your mid distance weapons, having almost 50 dps. RIco can bounce around walls and has longer range, but has a refill bar like the close range weapons so it cant spam as much as twins. I might have missed something here, so if I did please let me know :)

Smoky and Thunder: Thunder is like your good ol' thunder, just a bit stronger to fit in, splash, long range, killsteal. Smoky now shoots really quick and has a chance to score a crit. This chance is 5% at m0 and 8% and m3. Crits HURT, a m3 crit does 190 damage! I would go for thunder still because its more reliable , has longer range and alpha making killsteals easier and exposing yourself lesser while having splash

Railgun and Shaft: Shaft now deals 214 damage on max charge, so thats a 34 more damage compared to pre buff WHILE normal tanks are all getting 200+ hp and mammoth 380 hp almost doubling. Only tanks shaft can one shot now are hornet and wasp, which was once the railguns job. Railgun is epic, its damage almost doubles while retaining its pre-buff features. Out of the big hitters, ill go for rail. BTW if you're reading this devs shaft NEEDS a buff, not a damage buff, but something like a 1-2 sec stun at max charge so it will be different from railgun.

I think that wasp should be straight line speed, while hornet will be slower, but corners better, that would make it balanced.

 

Out of the mid class hulls, hunter should be fastest, dict somewhere in middle, viking slower but more hp

 

Titan...lousier turret position, quite a big chunk of hp lost for just 0.6 speed NEEDS FIXING

 

EDIT: I think one way to fix viking hornet and titan is to make them more knockback resisitant

Basically,

Wasp>Hornet

Dictator>Hunter=Viking

Mammoth>Titan

Isida=Freeze=Firebird

Twins=Ricochet

Thunder>Smoky

Railgun>Shaft

I agree to all that except,

Freeze > Firebird > Isida

 

 

I have an impression that Smoky has better range than Thunder, I have used Thunder before and after De-balance, its range seems shorter now. I would love to see any official word about this.

Yes, smokys range is further than thunders.

They made isida pretty good now with the 50 dps and 58 healing thing, not to mention theget half the damage back while attacking thing.

It is that good, even your health kit isn't fast enough anymore.
