Is it a official Tanki Online job or just a volunteer club? 

 

i think there has only ever been one official map maker from the non russian community  ;)

 

this is just a little make up club for fun :)

Pay Attention to This Please Guys.


 


This is not an idea for a new map. This is an important question on why we haven't done a particular map


 


-PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH-


 


Map - I call it 'Plain'


 


My problem is this. We have Desert. we have Sandbox. However, there is no map on Regular Tanki which is completely flat.


 


NO BUILDINGS


NO PLATFORMS/RAISED LEVELS


 


My idea is this:


 


Layout - Just flat. Same size as sandbox, but no level or buildings.


Edge - Is like the edge on Arena or Iran, not like Sandbox


Textures - Nothing fancy. It doesn't have to be.


Reason - I want a map where no-one in particular has an advantage place-wise.


 


- No raised platforms or corners for shaft, railgun or thunder.


- No high edge (of map) for ambushes


 


This means that, apart from skill and level of tank, there is no particular advantage for anyone.


 


* Note - I have not done a design because the map is reallly that simple.


** I reckon that one of the Tanki pillars should be allowed right on the edge of a corner.

sorry while i was finishing it i sort of though of a new idea...now i am done and am just fixing floating things and things that are sticking out :)

You been saying that you made or making a map for a year and a half. just admit that you failed.

nope because i have succeeded in making a map that did say unsupported like last time...did i not show you the pic...anyways i have tones of school work so i might not be able to post till Wednesday after my day off

This is a map I call Interstate in a video I mad for it..

 

Now please tell how to improve this map!

Great try! Perfect to build on. First, though it is hard to tell if a map is unbalanced or not without playing it, the blue side is better than the red because of how much cover and area it has. This leads into my second suggestion; more cover (buildings, walls, etc.). Thus also implying that there needs to be more to it. Third, you dont quite have me with the name and the map itself; Find ways to make it seem more realistic, and not have so much area from which someone could drive off the side, etc.

 

I am thinking of add a tunnel?

That may be a good addition, if inputted properly. Maybe connecting to pits in those open areas on each side of the road/highway?
